Secrets Aura Cozumel - All Inclusive - Adults only

By far and away Secrets Aura staff / employees are the best anywhere. The weather was perfect. The food was delicious. The drinks were plentiful and tasty.

We enjoyed the beautiful beach, close location from beach to the pool area, and the privacy we received.

The food was sub par. Only steakhouse, French and Asian restaurants were open, no Mexican, with weird dress codes. Staff at check in was borderline harassing us to attend a 90 min presentation to sell us something, but said it was a “promotional event”

Location was great! The price wasn’t to bad for what you can get.

Our room smelled so bad, almost like something died in it. Like dirty diapers in week old trash, tried to air out the room but that turned things into something else. Once the air was off then the door opened caused the floor to get flooded.

Staff! Excellent Service.

Food needs a major upgrade as well as hotel. In our room, neither phone worked, AC didn?t work nor did coffee pot.

They charge you $10 every time you use it to get on a boat of any kind. However, people who use it for recreational purposes don?t get charged anything. Here is an idea why don?t you charge guest $2 a day rather than having someone heckling you on pier

Clean. Food was good and had multiple choices. Friendly staff.

Slippery area. saw 3 people at one pool and then I fell going into the water. Also fell at night over a slippery when wet sign that was covered by shadow blocking the light.

Cool Hotel,24 hour room service and good food.

Charged me to use there dock and there app for the Hotel needed updated.

I didnt get the preferred room I paid for and wasnt allowed to eat in the preferred restaurant without having to see manager approval and confirmation I was a preferred guest there was no hot water at any point, room service breakfast was cold

The staff was awesome and good and drinks were great. Eugenia in marketplace was awesome and the barista at the coffee shop was suier

The beach location is beautiful.

Overall cleanliness and many of the public restrooms were in disrepair. No hot water in the room. Was surprised because we had upgraded to preferred club, but the room was the worst we have had in our many travels to Mexico and the Caribbean.

Rooms old. Was moved to a lower category room without the amenities I paid for. Paid for preferred SUPERIOR ocean view. Got preferred superior no view with leaking bathroom shower that flooded the unit. Was moved to preferred ocean view.

The location and beach area were very nice.

Room had multiple maintenance issues. Resort was in need of renovation. Had to ask multiple times for maintenance and housekeeping requests. Had a few room service issues. Staff didn¿t seem to know how to handle situations when things were wrong.

The bellmen were nice and taxis were quick.

Upon check in we were ¿upgraded¿ from junior suite to a swim up. Went to the room and it was occupied. We were then bumped back down to jr suite which is fine as it¿s what we paid for but the room was dirty and uninhabitable. Finally moved rooms after.

Nothing about this hotel is worth 5 stars.

We did not stay. Hotel was in poor condition, beach loungers were torn, no towels by the pool/beach. Beach/Pool Bar staff was nonexistent, only welcomed if you were a ¿preferred member¿ room mini bar only included sodas/beer. Nonworking phone in room.

The beach itself was lovely; the slides in the back pool were fun; the room service was the best part of the food.

Food was very poor; limited options for dining with 1-2 hours wait each night for bad food

Food - there¿s no all day buffet. Had to wait 1+ hour for dinner 2 out of the 3 nights. Limited food options. Also got food poisoning the last day along with my friend. Still recovering as I type this. Outdated Night life is not the best

Hotel needs full remodeling & customer service needs improvement. No exciting activities, you will need to go outside the hotel for fun & good restaurants.

The entire hotel is rubbish & needs full remodeling with exciting activities within the hotel.
