- The people who worked in Housekeeping , the restaurant and the outdoor center were all kind and helpful. Pam led a snowshoe forestry tour and Poach gave us the cow tour and both were outstanding. Samantha and the front desk crew were also exceptional. Thank you again.
- The hotel was very charming and homey. Location near Stowe was a bonus. The beer garden down the hill also had amazing food. Bed was very comfortable.
- All dining was superb. Staff was very attentive and friendly. And the history and stories were fascinating
Cons -
- It was all so good to us. Not one thing could be better. The snowshoe trail system was well maintained and made it very special for my wife and I.
- The one thing that did not meet our expectations was the shower. The water pressure was so low we ended up not being able to shower the entire trip I am afraid.
- Toiletries, beddings and towels are below average compared to the value I paid.

The room layout was awkward (closet door blocking access). Our room was complicated to get to, as the property has different wings on different levels
