The location at the corner of a busy beach and huge urban park could not be beat. Rooms are very clean and basic with all you need. The traditional Japanese restaurant and cool breakfast / bar restaurant on site are hidden gems. Excellent service from all staff. Effective valets. Would definitely return!
If you’re someone who has to have luxury details in your room reconsider. But you’re supposed to be outside touring anyway!

Fantastic location and staff. Beautiful view from lanai of beach and Kapiolani park. Rooms are quiet. Shower pressure good, bed comfortable, blackout curtains. Many restaurants and stores close. Beach across the street.
Rooms are dated. Of course if they renovate the rates will increase. We didn’t find it an issue.

Loved the super helpful staff and the location. Room was a little noisy due to loud music coming from vehicles at night which is no fault of the hotel. Great access to surf beach

Such a great stay in a great location the hotel offers a wide variety of amenities that are extremely useful. I would definitely stay here again.
