Convenient location, close to numerous restaurants. Breakfast was good, with several selections.

This hotel is older but very clean and in a convenient location in downtown La Jolla. Our room was quiet and very clean The hotel has no bellman services. Parking and resort fee increased cost by $40 per night.

The location and friendly staff who were professional and polite. The staff is a 10 plus. The facility has plumbing/water pipe issues, it’s a 5, but I was there for one night so it was fine. I wouldn’t go back for a longer stay due to the plumbing issues.

The first room I was given had a sewer smell and wasn’t clean. I was immediately changed to another room that was clean. The walls are thin here and they definitely have a plumbing issue throughout the hotel. There was no water pressure in the showers.

Breakfast was abnormally cold and a lot of the staff were just rude or had bad attitudes.

There is no dedicated valet--just the person at the front desk. It is very slow. We called ahead so the car would be ready, but they still did not go to get it until after we went down to the lobby. At check out we waited for a long time for the car.

The staff was extremely attentive. The location is excellent and within walking distance of restaurants and shops.

Staff was pleasant and polite; we had issues with a broken A/C but were compensated adequately.

Location was perfect for me.

The air conditioning did not work properly. It was not cool and could never reach 72. The room smelled very musty. The cost did not justify the room or amenities.

Check-in time 4pm. All hotels allow you to checkin earlier , if rooms are available this one asks for $10/hour. and check-out time is 11am, terrible, should be 12.

Great location!

Rooms lacked amenities. For example the room we had with 2 Queen-sized beds only had one bedside table! Everything needs updating or the price should be lowered to reflect the more basic amenities.

Quiet , clean , very helpful friendly staff , very convenient short walk to everything .

The hotel was gorgeous! We were upgraded to the spa suite due to overbooking and it was absolutely beautiful!! The staff was very friendly! Location was perfect, within walking distance to all the shops and restaurants! Well be back again!

The staff were incredible! And we loved that the hotel was a small walk from the beach and near TONS of shopping and eateries. We will definitely be coming back on our next trip.
