Sheraton Waikiki Beach Resort

We had an exceptional stay at the Sheraton while celebrating our 10 year anniversary. The staff in the hotel were very friendly and helpful. The area around the hotel was high quality with many great options for eating and shopping.

Location of the hotel is perfect, near restaurants and shopping. The cleaning staff were very nice.

More lounges/beds by the pool would be nice. Breakfast is quite expensive.

terrific location but very impersonal staff and systems around the hotel. Most staff new nothing about the facilities or systems for check in /breakfast etc. it is a wonderful central location, but that is about it.

Pool system of people 'taking over' the pool area by very early gradbbing of lounges etc (most taken by 7am) was disappoitning. We didn't bother with the pool becasue of that and walked to the beach area instead.

For such a big hotel I would have hoped there would be a spa. But there are nice options around in other hotels. The gym is a little small but you can make it work. Access to the infinity pool can be difficult without reserving in advance. Can be frustrating for some people.

The location is excellent. The infinity pool is also a great area to relax. I like how they have an area for family and kids, while they have a separate area that don’t allow kids. I also like the bedding, is very comfortable and I get a really good night sleep . The bathrooms are also excellent. I like the idea of having a bidet.

Checking in is always difficult here. I have stayed here 3 times, and each time the line is very long. I am not a member of their Hotel, which has a different line, and the members have priority over those that are not in the member line. I felt like it took a long time for me because whenever the member line has a new person, they have priority. I guess it makes sense, but it means for those of us who are not members can wait a fair amount of time.

Rooms were spacious and clean with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The Sheraton even provided us with beautiful refillable water bottles.

The pools were always packed and it was next to impossible to get chairs. We had to stand and wait for hours to for someone to get up and leave. Also, the pool areas only had a few umbrellas. Guests are left roasting in the hot Hawaiian sun.

Pool, close to beach, easy access to restaurant, buses, trolley, stores, and baggage storage. Housekeeping was excellent. Room was spacious and very clean and comfortable.

Key did not work after checking out and flight was at night.

We had a wonderful stay in this hotel! The location is excellent! The room and bathroom are clean and comfortable and the breakfast is very good. What I loved most about this hotel is its proximity to Waikiki beach as well as the manicured lawn and pool next to the beach. It’s also located along a busy street with amazing views, upscale shopping and awesome restaurants. Definitely highly recommend this hotel!

The location, views, pools and room are all amazing. We booked the diamond head oceanfront view and it was worth every moment. The view as truly something special. I would book this hotel again in a heartbeat. One of the best hotels I’ve stayed at.

No room service but that is understandable. Sun loungers were very busy during the holidays so if you want one you’ll have to get up very early.
