Occidental at Xcaret Destination - All Inclusive Resort

The beautiful buildings. The pool area was a lot of fun. The beach cove was stunning.

The room service was not free. Play better music at the club. Have the option to bring food from the snack bars to the pool or hotel room. The local guests at the hotel were not very friendly.

The hotel and location were great.

When we got there the service was horrible, we had to pay extra for our 2 kids, When I had purchased the room I requested 2 adults and 2 kids and when we got to hotel they refused to give us room until we paid an extra 800.00 US dollars. Horrible.

Close to XCARET parks, beach pool very nice !

food was average, not that great. fatty meat pork, napkins old dirty, furniture restaurants wore down. hotel needs renovation for sure.

Beautiful venue, love the natural wildlife and agriculture. A wow factor upon arrival in the lobby.

Expected higher level liquor options. Bars limited hours, had to walk around resort to access a drink. Our room not cleaned 2 days in a row and even after notifying front desk the first time. Push for timeshare several times. Food just ok. Staff just ok.

Overall was a great experience. The staff at the bars and restaurants were very friendly and attentive. Loved the grounds and nature. Monkeys, deer, flamingos¿ The beach area was really nice. Plenty of chairs and space. Pools were nice and not crowded.

The one thing that I disliked about the hotel was the reservation process for dinner. You had to be online at 7am everyday to make them for that day. They only had 1 or 2 people that were efficient.

Rooms we reserved were not available so we had to move rooms after one night. Management was unprofessional. Room had dirty countertops. For diner reservation you had to get up at 6AM to get in line otherwise everything was full. Low food quality/ options

This is on priceline. I never stayed here are priceline said I would get a refund now they are telling me I will not be refunded. Total bs and a scam

The staff was amazing and adaptable to our requests which we really appreciated. Hotel had a lot of activities, discovering animals, shopping, snorkeling, visiting ruins, pools, walking trails, night shows, variety of bathing, food and drink options.

Nothing. Just make sure to reserve and have proper attire for some restaurants

The grounds were beautiful

Outdated rooms. Musty smell, received different price quotes for taxi. Said on the website that shuttle to and from hotel/ airport was included and it was not. Food was ok at the main buffet but not warm and looked like leftovers from previous days.

The wildlife was really cool and the salt water pools

You could only get coffee at the buffet or pay for coffee. The food was always cold and not very good.

I liked the location. A lot of green space, animals, and even some ruins.

Staff was rude. The worst all inclusive we¿ve stayed at so far and we¿ve been going to Cancún at least one a year for the last 6 years. No beach access. No robes in room. Not ALL inclusive. Hard to navigate. Would not stay again even if you paid ME.

Great Xcaret proximity. Can take the gondola to the Xcaret-exclusive entrance, but you will likely save time by walking the three-minute trip. ALL staff were kind and attentive. Location is great but isolated from all but the resort & park. A+ buffet.

Minor push to upgrade to other amenity levels. In the process of saying no, the host (two for every housing building) asked why I was being so rude (I was not) and quickly corrected herself, claiming a second-language error, then repeated herself.

Buffet, pools and the locations around of it. The nature the food the parks, attractions. The tourism a lot of people from around the world the culture and all the stuff around of it. The activities the deinks, the coffee the ambience and the peace.

Costumer service was ruth, they never have solutions, don¿t accomplish my expectative. It doesn¿t worth what it cost. They never have concrete answer for your questions and we have issue with oriceline that dont put the stuff that i read.

Location close to Xcaret and Xplor. Hotel did not feel overly crowded.

Hotel room was warm and uncomfortable. Never got cold. Never received my concierge service.

The staff was amazing, always going above and beyond. The activities were fun. Pools were clean and very nice! There was a variety of a la carte restaurants and the food was generally good to very good, while the service was always excellent.

They managed to keep the hotel campus super clean!

We had to tell housekeeping to clean our room even though we marked on the sheet that we wanted daily housekeeping. We had to call the front desk multiple times to figure out how to set the code on the safe and then finally they sent someone to reset it.

The staff at all the restaurants, bars, pool etc. where extremely friendly and service oriented. Quick, attentive. The lobby was pretty. Some of the restaurants were ok¿if you could get a seat and if open if you could find QR codes to get info and hours

The communication was terrible. We got zero info about the hotel or services at check in even thought we paid extra for ¿deluxe concierge service¿ no towels a shower that didn¿t drain rude front desk kept calling about extra charges then we all got sick

The scenery is beautiful and animals roam freely.

No reservations for non vip customers at the restraunts and unfriendly staff. If you don't want to buy their add-ons they do not care to help you. Bars close at 6 and pool at 8.

Check in took way to long about1 hour, wrong luggage was taken to our room, rooms are average, food was standard buffet style,pool where average, guest service wernt very helpful they didnt let me use there phone to call a cab I had to figure it
