The Farmington Inn

The location was great.

I felt it was not advertised as it really is. I didn’t see anywhere that the pool was ten minutes away at another hotel in the listing. Our beds were double bed sized when I chose a double queen bed room. Room upstairs thumped all night and morning.

They offer an excellent free breakfast. The location is convenient.

The rooms need updating. The carpets need to be replaced.

It's an old-school New England inn. It's a little bit shabby but a minor renovation effort would solve that.

We were there for four nights, but housekeeping did not come to clean our room ONCE! The kind lady at the front desk came and emptied our wastebaskets, provided new towels, and even cleaned the bathroom on the third night.

It was quiet, clean, VERY nice staff, and BEAUTIFUL. Great price!!!

Nope!

Great friendly staff, extra large king suite with all the amenities. Bedding very comfortable, hot breakfast, best tasting hotel cookies ever, afternoon wine and cheese, free daily papers, lobby w/fireplace, pool table. On-site gym, lots of extras.

Some road noise.

Beautiful decor/ interior design, a very cozy, place, great breakfast room, very friendly and helpful staff, cheese & wine in lobby every night- my favorite stay!! Many thanks

The rooms, the atmosphere, the staff, the Inn is outstanding in every way. They should have special deals for extended stays and for booking in advance, because I would definitely be taking advantage of both! My favorite hotel currently in operation.

Checking out, because I never want to leave!

It?s charming- the staff warm and welcoming. The room was nice - better beds are needed.

The beds needs an upgrade.

Location to where I was visiting. Surroundings were nice.

The hotel had a nice vibe to it but the breakfast offerings were all sub par down to the plastic silverware, bowls and plates. I get that it's expensive to offer breakfast but a more modest offering less but of a higher quality would be better.

Decor

Bed, mattress was too far from headboard and too heavy to move. Also tenants in the room above

Quiet clean comfortable

The breakfast is adequate for sure but a little variety would be nice.

Cleanliness, room , free breakfast

Too many stairs, no elevator

Cleanliness and quiet

I wish there was a hot egg option (not just hard boiled eggs)

The young lady at the customer service desk was very professional and she made sure all my needs was meet I live the antique style of the hotel and the amenities they offered I love it

The staff, not the hotel

This hotel was rated as wonderful which is definitely overrated. The staff was extremely pleasant and helpful but the facility does need a lot of redoing. The first thing I noticed was the carpet looked so dirty & worn in the hallways in the rooms.

Location couldnt be better. Staff nice. Breakfast was good.

Rooms could use a refresh in decor.

The staff were super kind and helpful .. it¿s nice to meet genuine people . We traveled with our baby and they offer a pack and play for FREE. We adored the free breakfast and the sister locations hot tub were a nice addition as well.

kind of wish they had a pool and hot tub on site but the drive to the sister location wasn¿t too bad ! Breakfast should offer water bottles along side the juice and coffee ( I don¿t drink juice or coffee ) but I still enjoy the brekafast .

Staff very responsive, clean, quaint, well kept for an older building. Breakfast very good. Would definitely stay there again.

No elevator for people with ambulatory issues.

Proximity to family. Clean and lovely staff. The lighting flickered a bit. But other than that, its a great place to stay.

Cute place, great location, kind staff

The room I was in was damp, the mattresses and sheets felt damp and was difficult to be comfortable in, other than that loved the place
