Grand Geneva Resort And Spa

The room was spacious and clean.

The concierge at check in and check out were arrogant. The staff at the Chop house were rude.

Nice staff, clean, beautiful grounds/views, gym and spa are wonderful

Clean, refurbished rooms that felt brand new in 2023. Beautiful views. Nice spa.

Although very nice, it felt overpriced and not the best value. That said, I'm totally happy with our stay and experience.

Beautiful setting, the grounds were beautiful and for an older building there was no 'smell' which I really appreciated. Great variety of activities to do and delicious food.

Location and staff

The only issue is that we had ants. Informed the hotel whe indicated they would immediately take care of it We told them not to spray trill we had left and they agreed. They were kind enough to gave us a credit on the resort fee for our inconvenience.

Excellent dinner at The Chophouse.

Rooms are very spread out & we had to haul our luggage up two flight! No elevators to our floor in our wing. This resort is not in the town of Lake Geneva, which we thought it was when we booked. The room was very expensive for what we got overlooking a .

Everything is onsite. Breakfast lunch and dinner

Great place to celebrate a quick Anniversary get-a-way. Front desk did an excellent job of upgrading me and making our night even better with a lake view and fireplace!

The restaurant

I was told the room had a hot tub, it did not. They did not clean the room. It was outdated and expensive for what we paid for.

The staff is very nice and personable. I enjoyed a great massage.

If you are looking for a nice hotel close to the lake, this in NOT the one. This is a hotel for people who just want to play golf or hang out at the pool with planned hotel "activities". It was very expensive and I would not return or recommend.

It's location and amenities

Will not eat at the grand cafe again. After having the burgers got food poisoning and spent the entire time in bed

It offered lots of different activities and the restaurants were good.

There seemed to be confusion at the front desk at times.

The room was great.

However I was told there would be a patio /balcony in my room and there wasn't. When I called front desk they too were shocked the room I had was without balcony but said I'd have to pay to get one. Was quite displeased with that.

The grounds, setting, firepit, Saturday night music, complimentary champagne for a birthday we were celebrating!

I expected the rooms to be more lux considering the price.

the waiting time to go to restaurant was 30min up, although there were nearly half of the tables were not taken.

The service was exceptional at all times everyone was so friendly

The pool itself could be a little bit bigger but that just me being picky everything was great.

All staff were great!

No elevators.

Very old decor and furnishings. Feel like we went back to the 1970¿s. Staff was not accomodating either.

Hotel is not a 4 star luxury hotel as it is advertised. Rooms in particular are outdated . They need to upgrade
