It was a nice hotel, great vibes, atmosphere, comfortbale bed. Interesting design. Location is okay, anyway close to evertyhting.
Maybe some workers should be aware that not every tourist is familiar with American way of tipping, signing papers, and paying for breakfast (which is included) with a knowledge that is will be returned by some vaucher, I mean it is really your super compliceted system and if I do not understand since it looks unfamilliar to me and beyond logic, does not mean I want to be rude and that you shpoudl express your irritation on me first thing in the morning.

Great location in the middle of Downtown. Easy access to all downtown location. Good and clean rooms, nice stay.
Breakfast is one of the worst I have ever seen (just 3 food items + drinks) and they tried to charge us $15 per person, although I have booked with breakfast included. Definitely not worth even $5. Valet parking is a mess and parking is not included.

Beautifully decorated and very polite staff. Safe location and centrally located in the city.
Breakfast was not included, and parking is not included.

We really loved the decor and all of our experiences with the staff were wonderful. The location was great.
More convenient green space for dogs. The city noise on the long walk to the park made my dog so nervous she wouldn't "go".

The location is amazing. You can walk to many of the things you are in Portland to do.
Price seems a little high. However, my biggest problem is the constant attempt to up-sell. A room higher in the hotel for $10/day, offer to check in early for $40/day. The addition of $30 for breakfast. The addition of $15/day for the market. It cheapens brand.

Spacious & clean hotel room, great water pressure and comfortable bed.
There are some abandon buildings near by but from what we understand Downtown Portland is going through a revitalization. The Finch (hotel bar/restaurant closed at 9pm on a Friday night.
