Location is fantastic, beautiful building and facilities that are very well kept. Staff was very friendly and cordial. We are in our early 30's and definitely felt like we were the youngest couple staying there (not that we had any expectations of the crowd, could be time of the year) but definitely an older affluent crowd, whom were all very pleasant to be around! Coffee shop was delicious as well as their restaurant. Rooms were very nice, clean and comfy. Seems like this place is at the center of pretty much everything you'd want to do in Charleston, everything within a a nice beautiful walk! Overall, we really enjoyed our stay, if you can foot the bill, do it!

Customer service was always with a smile, professional and care. The hotel is in a great location and just minutes from the market. I loved the hotel accommodations, such as the pool, bar, restaurant, and coffee shop.

I do believe the valet price was high but there was parking nearby, which connects to the hotel. All went great!

We loved the hotel, it was bright and spacious, and the common areas were well decorated and welcoming to sit and lounge. The hotel rooms were large, albeit the bathrooms were snug. The bed and linens were very comfortable. The wait, staff were fantastic, the food was excellent. The bartenders made great cocktails and were very accommodating.

Our first impression was not great. We take annual girl trips. We had not been able to take them for the last several years, because of some serious health issues. Upon booking, many months prior to our trip, I requested either adjoining rooms or rooms near each other. Upon check-in, we were promptly told, they could not accommodate our request. No effort was made at check-in and we all felt dismissed when we questioned why. I would say to anyone, if booking multiple rooms that you need to be near or connected, I would not recommend Mills. Besides the check-in employee, all and I mean all other staff members were outstanding, even if they could not grant a request. The front desk gentleman was not rude, just seemed rushed or uninterested in assisting us.

Great location- new and beautiful decor- well furnished rooms and wonderful amenities.

The lines for the pool bar and for the Black Door coffee shop were long. Could use some more staff. Pool area is on the smaller side so getting chairs can be tough.

Great location, nice common areas, helpful staff.

The pillow top mattress in the room. These mattresses make me feel so hot that I can't sleep.

This is a great hotel and we loved everything about it. We stayed here as a family of 4 with 2 teenage kids. It is stylish and comfortable with a great location. There is a great bar and restaurant, and the coffee shop/market is fantastic. The location is perfect and within walking distance of everything. We swam and lounged every day at the pool and had plenty of drinks from the poolside bar as well. The hotel was bustling but never felt overly busy. The property is very well-decorated, clean, and well-maintained. Our second-floor room was perfect with vaulted ceilings and and a balcony overlooking the side street and Poogan's Porch restaurant. It was a great place for a drink, morning coffee, and the free smells coming from the restaurant across the street (be sure to eat and Poogan's). We will definitely stay here next time we are Charleston.

Nothing. We loved everything about this hotel.
