The location was great, we could walk to almost everything we wanted to see/do!

The staff are not overly friendly and did not make us feel welcome. I did like the text I got everyday checking on us and offering suggestions

24 hrs after check out I have not received my Visa credit for amenities checkin deposit. Overall facility quality did not match the star rating and price. I will not be recommending The Mills House..

Clean hotel with friendly, helpful staff.

Small bathrooms, the housekeeping staff needed to be coaxed in to clean the room.

Location and cleanliness of our room. Wait staff in bar and restaurant area were very friendly and happy to wait on us.

Front desk staff could be more friendly and helpful. Had one very "happy to wait on you"experience when checking out. Otherwise, they just didn't live up to a 5 star customer service experience.

Eveeything, very elegant, great bed and shower, pool was perfect

Housekeeping came in our room while we were trying to pack up even though we had the do not disturb sign up. They stood outside our room until we left to check out.

Location Ambience

Booked a 2 queen bed room a month prior to arrival. Tried to check in at 8:00pm and after delay were told room was not ready! Then told they had no 2 queen bed rooms left. They gave us a second room, but we had to move to queen the next day. Inconvenient!

The hotel was located in a very walkable area near many restaurants and shops. The rooms were stylish and comfortable. It is a beautiful historic hotel.

You billed me for the room and I paid also the hotel charged me. I also was given the wrong room twice. It was occupied by someone else. No one to help move luggage to the room. Only one towel in the bathroom. Staff was rude. Leaky elevator.

Location, general overall appearance (this hotel has presence!), boutique feel of it, amenities (loved the option of a yoga class every morning), the coffee shop as well as the late nite sitting by the fire having a drink and meeting other folks.

Excellent location¿ Very nice property layout. Valet parking can be a problem due to space limitations.

Slightly overpriced¿ But you probably have to expect that in Charleston

The hotel was beautifully designed and centrally located. It was immaculate, and the staff at the hotel and at the restaurant were great. I would stay there again in a heartbeat. The restaurant was excellent!

Big pet fee of $200.

Was not notified or aware that the pool was under construction. Also no late night snacks or vending machines. No included breakfast.
