Sheraton Grand Panama

The front desk was absolutely amazing. When we arrived she was so friendly, nice and welcoming. This was my first time in Panama and she went above and beyond to make me feel welcomed. She is a great asset to your team. Highly recommend!!

Spa and gym

Except for the housekeepers, the staff in the restaurant and bar are disrespectful and undisciplined. the food is very bad. The order never arrives on time.

The cafe restaurant was delightful--good food, reasonable prices. But the excellent bakery was a treasure. The pool area is gorgeous, a boon during weekend COVID-19 lockdowns. Doormen are especially helpful and gracious.

Nothing to blame the hotel for. Most of the shops in the hotel complex were closed due to COVID -- unfortunate. The hotel is not in a bad area, but as in any major city, caution is needed after dark.

BEST LOCATION, VERY CLEAN ROOMS, AND THE FOOD.

Very pleasant staff. No wait for elevators - often an issue at hotels internationally.

The casino

Breakfast was horrible. We always eat amazing in Panama. Definitely worst place to eat. The rooms are outdated. Everything is old and for the brand + price you pay you'd expect more high quality.

-Absence of ice in machine-Shortage of towels-Construction being done above my room without notice-Deceptive dinner menu. Inadequate dinner serving -Poor breakfast menu choices

I liked the fact that it is right across from the Atlapa Convention center which is ideal for attending meetings without either getting sweaty due to the heat or soaked due to the rains

Being in a tropical humid climate, I did not like the fact that the rooms only have carpets and that no windows can be opened. I understand that is to have most efficient use of the airconditioning but this is not good for people with allergies like me. I much prefer rooms without airco but with ceiling fans and windows that can at least open a bit. Having lived myself in Panama, I know from experience that that is perfectly ok as well in this climate.

The location was convenient for the meeting I was attending. The gym is great, and the staff helpful. Breakfast has lots of options.

The rooms were very humid and smelled bad; the rooms were also cleaned quite late during the day. I also never got a hairdryer and a "do not distburb" card despite asking for it.

The hotel was very conveniently located right across from the Atlapa conference center. The Hassad bar was open almost 24h which is very handy during meetings. The breakfast was good.The rooms are comfortable.

The rooms all have airconditioning and are fully carpeted. That is not a good combination in a tropical humid country. It would be better to have wooden or tile floors to keep it cleaner.

Good value for your money. In particular if you want to use a gym with sauna and a pool.

Comfortable room. Good water pressure.

Really poor breakfast. Bad omelets. Bad selection. Poor quality in the bad selection and food in general.

Friendly staff, comfortable bed

Rooms need refurbishment. Small details, but would not expect that from Sheraton like for e.g. alarm clock left on from previous guest, time on the clock with wrong set-up; no soap for two days, I used my own so did not ask for one (only shampoo & regenerator in the shower)... not very common internal procedure at breakfast you have to fill in forms with your name, room and signature although they obviously already have all this information

Most staff were helpful / respectful. Pool was good - not too over-chlorinated like some hotels. The gym has a lot of equipment. Big lobby space and chairs to sit on. Reception was polite and efficient.

The food at the Greek restaurant Lobby level was very bad, and the coffee was not very drinkable. The complimentary breakfast at the pool level is not worth the $21 USD unless you like to eat a lot - although the buffet service and quality were reliable, and the coffee was fine. Elevators were playing games... On some occasions I had to press up to go down. The AC doesn't cool reliably during the day and air quality in the room was not as good as the hallway. The bathroom door opens against the shower door - which is a bit cramped.

Few minutes from the mall, near the highway, many restaurants and places to visit in the surroundings.The schedule for cleaning was improved as well the quality of work done, feel really well in this stay.

Nothing serious, just a minor inconvenience with the pillows but quantity beat quality

It had great location.

It was very noisy. The first night there was an event until 4-6 in the morning and the music was so loud none of us could sleep. I’ve asked to change rooms and they said no. Barely apologized for the inconvenience and lied saying there weren’t going to be more events but on our third night there was another event. Always with the music so loud. We were on the 9th floor and still could hear it.
