InterContinental Boston By IHG

The hotel was in a great location and can easily walk to any location you want to go in the city. It was nestled by the water and safe area. The hotel guest services was awesome and at front desk and treated my wife and I with hospitality.

There were gross black pubic and regular hairs in the bathroom sink

Size of rooms huge, great location on the waterfront. All around excellent experience

All the extra charges, not the hotel’s fault. No convenience store or gift shop.

Lobby

Check in, the attendant was oddly sarcastic. Taller guy with an accent made every simple question difficult. Others I engaged with were very nice. He was just unnecessary in his questions. I told him I Booked two beds he begin to tell me how Bookings work

At check-in, we were informed that a $30 credit could be used at the restaurant toward food and nonalcoholic beverages. However, upon checkout, we discovered an additional $39 charge had been added to our account to cover the so-called “$30 credit.”

Comfortable, clean, friendly and helpful staff, room service was excellent, lovely view of the wharf

Parking cost, cost of dog, don’t know if this can be changed—- the dog had to go potty late at night, the back doors opened to leave but had to walk all the way around in the dark to the front of hotel—wasn’t happy about that

Location of this hotel was hard to beat. I did not have to rent a car due to the location. We were able to walk to many of the attractions and restaurants we wanted to visit. Very easy to access public transportation from this location.

Its outdated. It wasnt as clean as id hope. Especially for a 5 start hotel.

-Breakfast was lovely

-No turndown service -One bath towel for two people (two queen beds) -No able to use refrigerator in room (hotel policy.) -No self parking. Valet $65/nt -Only one staff working at 4:30 pm check in. Really slow

Great location: walkable to Fort Point, Long Wharf, Faneuil Hall, NE Aquarium, Boston Common, and the T (South Station and Aquarium).

Our flight to Boston was canceled due to weather and all flights were booked for the next day and a half. The Intercontenenal Boston would do nothing about helping me change my reservation. I was charged for night's I could not be there.

Location, friendliness and helpfulness of staff.

LOCATION! We walked to Faneuil Hall. We walked to TD Garden to see our concert. We walked to the Aquarium! And we walked to Chinatown for dim sum!

Service, location and cleanliness. Room is awesome and spacious. Love the outdoor space. Beautiful

There is construction on corner of seaport ave so a little detour but no big deal.

The location is perfect, it’s clean, and the service is top-tier.

The amenity charge added after my stay is not ideal. It should be included in the booking.

Water pressure was poor.

Comfortable bed. Peaceful room. Excellent room service meal.?rib eye, pasta, broccolini. Everything was perfect.

Was a little noisy. Not much you do if guests think it?s okay to talk in the hallway at 6am

I have always enjoyed staying at the Intercontinental Boston. On this trip, which is three years since my last visit, it felt even more luxurious. I think it may have been subtly upgraded, particularly the room.

Location. A full service hotel which I increasingly rarely. Room service, big gym, pool, nice bar and restaurant.
