It was a nice hotel with good location. The amenities were nice and a little different than other places. The staff at the front desk was amazing. Everyone we dealt with up front was professional, courteous, and informative. The rooms were comfortable and had a little charm. The on-site parking was a plus as well.

There wasn't anything we didn't like. The room was clean for the most part except for a few things and the free breakfast was what you would get at most hotels.

Bed was very comfortable with a nice weight duvet cover and pillows. The location is fantastic. The hotel has some nice touches and furnishings and a really nice dining area.

The continental breakfast lacked options and the quality of the available food was not that great. Would have liked healthier bread/muffin options and unsweetened yoghurt. There was fresh fruit (apples/bananas) and hard-boiled eggs and decent coffee.Someday maybe hotels will also start to provide different options for blankets realizing couples don't often have the same body temps. - we often find them being too hot for one and not the other, etc. Thankfully I brought my own cover.

Rooms are clean but forgot to clean 2nd day me request to clean it.

Breakfast was a joke. A hotel like this should have a fresh breakfast. It was only continental with basics. 2nd day no boiled eggs. No orange juice or anything.

Love the location, the patio, the staff, the S’mores, the games. Perfect place to make home base while in Portland. I could walk most places and I felt safe. Farmer’s market is only a few blocks away, and Powell Books and Art/craft market are within easy walking distance. Staff are welcoming, informative and gracious. S’mores and the patio are catalysts for creating a neighbourhood of travellers.

Parking is too expensive. There’s a lot across 6th that you can see from the dining room that is much cheaper. Also, the hair dryer was broken and there were splatters of something on the bathroom floor. Staff attended to these things immediately.

The location is great, close to several attractions but not noisy and safety seems good. The room is good size, best part =can open the window, comfortable bed, nice bathroom.Breakfast is limited option but enough for a fresh start of the day.

room's cleanness level can be higher:There were an used tissue on the floor near the bed when we enter. Some hair on the bright bathroom floor. not too big deal but still can point out.

It was a beautiful hotel! Very modern and sleek, clean as can be and in the heart of downtown! The secure parking was a godsend in the middle of the city.

Location of hotel was excellent- close to river, to Powell bookstore, to Portland Art Museum, to Fountain Park, etc. An unexpected bonus was that the hotel had lots of pinball machines and Pac-Man etc and all was free and unlimited game play. Other games also were available to use. Another bonus was beautiful fireplaces in the courtyard and makings for s'mores available without charge. I would highly recommend this hotel!! It was a great find.

Fantastic location. Could walk everywhere, safely, and at night. Close to markets, festivals, shopping, tourist attractions (e.g. museums, the arts, nightlife, parks, waterfront, etc.). Also loved the patio, including the games, the nightly s’more event, and how neighbourly people became because of it. I also enjoyed the breakfast being included. Remarkably quiet considering that it is so centrally located in the old downtown.

I didn’t like the price of parking. We found a lot across the street (could see it from breakfast) that was $15 rather than $24 for the 24 hours/day.Some confusion when we booked through booking.com. Room stated it had a shower but not a toilet. It did of course, but had to verify through phone calls. Also didn’t like that the bar closed so early. The patio is such a perfect place to hang out. We wanted to stay, and not go out. Glad you can buy beverages at the little kiosk at the front desk. Also, the breakfast bananas were consistently brown. I suspect they were put in the fridge.
