The Godfrey Hotel Chicago

Staff was friendly and helpful.

The bass from the music in the club was horrendous and went on till 2 am.

This is not a 4.5 star hotel. There was structural steel over the window, the walls and mirror were dirty, and the mattress was indented in the middle.

The spacious rooms keep in mind there is a $25 per night fee for hotel and $100 deposit

So we were fine however our room overlooked the rooftop bar below so on the Sat night you could hear everything until about midnight or so

Cleanliness and location was the best part of the hotel

my room was a deluxe KING suite. The bed was a full size bed.

Double sinks in large room and wonderful rooftop lounge/bar!

Rooms have lots of wear and tear. Stains on the walls, lampshades and dings and dents in most all of the furniture. Also other then one drawer nightstands no other drawers or dressers for clothing storage. Also no mention of anniversary.

All the furniture in the room was chipped, dinged and looked horrible.

Never been to a hotel in my life that does not offer beverages. Staff here is rude. Great place to throw a hotel party because they dgaf.

Roof top bar is very nice!

No free breakfast and doors aren't great at blocking out sound.

The hotel staff upon check out were not that friendly, and there was a somewhat rowdy group congregating in the lobby, which made accessing the elevators difficult.

Loud music was playing from the rooftop lounge and noise was coming through the window. We couldn?t sleep as the music was so loud. We had to move rooms the next day. TVs did not work for a majority of our first day.

my 5th floor room was very loud due to roof top bar on the 4th floor

I had been stayed there 2 nights 10 years go while everything was kinda brand new. Impressive living condition, I mean 10 year ago.

Too loud, too much noise. My wife fell asleep around 3 am coz chaos from street, like paramedic, engine, or people after party. My friend in another side complain about night club from building next to us, strong beats play all night long.

Great location and very clean. Staff is also very friendly.

The Internet was very slow and frustrating. Also did not offer decaf coffee in the room or at the restaurant nearby.

Hotel employee was fabulous. I called the hotel to inform about our late arrival. She got us assigned to a room, and even got us upgraded to a suite! My husband did a lot of remote work at the desk, and having the extra room was much appreciated.
