Windsor Hotel & Restaurant

This hotel appears to have some serious plumbing issues. Whenever we or someone in a nearby 2nd floor room flushed the toilet, sewer smell comes out of sink and shower drains.

The staff are friendly, warm, courteous, helpful. This is a family run business. The bathroom is remodeled, upscale, well done. Everything was clean. The restaurant is exquisite.

This is an historic building therefore our room was small. That said, it is a beautiful, updated, cozy, friendly historical building with lovely people running it and working there. We will stay there again.

The restaurant food was delicious, however was not advised in advance that reservations needed to be made even if you are a hotel guest. We got lucky and got a table anyway. Shower was a bit small and felt crowded, but overall nice room.

The rooms felt very luxurious & they were quiet.

They did not serve any kind of breakfast. If one of their restaurants had of the stay would have been perfect.

Size of the room was large. The decor in keeping with the original history of the hotel was a neat feature. They lady at check-in was fantastic, friendly, and helpful.

The only weird thing was the photographs of several generations of a family who donated money to preserve the room. Nothing wrong with the pictures, but they just gave a creepy vibe to the room. Those pictures may be better served in the lobby or hallway.

They leave rooms vacant for 24 hours. Masks required. A safe haven in the crap shoot of hotel and motel rooms in these days of coronavirus.

I enjoyed having a great location to see the local fall Aspens which was located in a quiet safe area not crowded with a lot of visitors

Great character, beautifully renovated, lovely staff, and nice location near South Fork.

The Windsor: clean, welcoming, with traditional styles but modern amenities. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable. This combined with an EXCELLENT dining experience at the restaurant made me stay a second night. Truly nonpareil for the solo traveler!

NO, I actually enjoyed everything about my stay.

Delicious free croissants with jam for breakfast, and friendly service at the front desk. Great atmosphere!

Historical renovation, cleanliness, hospitality, and a pianist playing in the lobby when I came in made it a unique experience.

No refrigerator in the room. I know they have room service and a restaurant and bar but I'd like to have cold water and other personal items kept cold in the room.

This a beautiful historic hotel. Well maintained, inviting and comfortable.

The staff and owner was awesome in explaining the historical significance of the hotel. It was an elegant experience.

Excellent atmosphere, very nice room and facility. All the charm of a historic building, with the necessities of the modern day.

Everything was wonderful. I'd like to recommend this hotel to everyone to stay an American style hotel.
