Staffs English was hard to understand beds sucked rooms where not easy to get to overall a lousey experience

The location was quite nice, very close to beach park.

Had booked a quadruple room that more expensive than other options, but was given a basement room that was tiny with NO windows. Not even a single drawer to keep stuff. Only few parking spaces on site, so alternate location given which was little away.

Hotel shower was clearly not cleaned/ found a giant clump of hair on the drain. When I took a shower the place flooded which is how I discovered the clogged drain. Gross to think of strangers in the same shower

It is quaint and not crazy busy. Also it was near downtown shopping and the beach.

The mini frig in our room 206 was barely able to keep anything cold.

Friendly staff. Clean room. Comfortable bed. Old hotel feel with modern rooms and amenities.

Parking around back is limited

Parking always challenging. Unmanned front desk at check in and had to wait 15 mins.

Located close to the water and near a lot of restaurants, plus only about 10 min drive to Casino Rama. It was great to stay for 1 night to attend a concert at the Casino. The front desk staff were excellent and the free breakfast was fine.

The room we were in was in a corner with no natural light (we faced directly into a brick wall that was a few inches away) and there were a couple of pigeons that took up residence and made a bit of noise. I'd stay again but ask for a different room.

Cozy

Parking was bad. Had to go a block away because the small parking behind the hotel was full. Rooms are very very small

Could use eggs at breakfast.

Staff were friendly, professional, accommodating. The room was clean, albeit small. But this hotel is 120 years old and all we needed was a safe, clean, quiet place to sleep. Walking distance to the lake and quaint shops.

Cleanliness not up to par. Shower had boot/shoe prints, splatter all over walls that were not wiped down, thin walls - can hear neighbors, toilet sounded like it was flushing on its own through out the night.

They changed our room to a corner basement room with a small window well window, very dark and musty and I am certain there were bed bugs. Room had a very sticky floor, seemed not to have been washed.

Having glass shower doors insteard of a plastic curtain on a rod is fantastic. Very nice old building, nice rooms.

The mattress and pillows that I had weren't the most comfortable, without being uncomfortable.

Old food left in refrigerator, no hand soap, wifi wasn¿t working and you were expected to park your car down the block in an unlit parking lot. The cost of the room was inflated due to an event-we paid a ridiculous amount to stay at a sub par place

Hotel has the cozy feeling of a boutique hotel yet it has thoroughly modern rooms. Location near downtown entertainment and the waterfront is convenient. Staff is very friendly and helpful.

Breakfast selection was limited.

Ventilation is very loud and we can¿t open the window. Breakfast was horrible and everything was individually wrapped, even the cups and eggs.

The parking situation, the walls are paper thin and could here alarms going off at 5am when I was there for work as well. The room I had was right above the parking where everyone goes out to smoke so I could here every conversation up until at least 11pm

Location!! The room was nice as well, would 100% stay here again.

Breakfast was a little lacking in my opinion, BUT it's free so I'm not mad about it.

The service at the front desk was not up to par. Front desk lady had no personality and seemed unhappy. She lacked social skills and an unwillingness to greet people with joy, no matter whether she was happy to be there or not.
