The STRAT Hotel, Casino & Tower

The Strat is fairly priced and relatively clean, comfy, and pleasant. I'd be willing to stay here again. The staff we interacted with were friendly, helpful, and attentive. Great views and nice, low-tech rooms. The TV was a modest 24"(?) LCD and there weren't a ton of invasive "smart" devices or functionalities in the room, which was refreshing.

Things to keep in mind at the Strat in January 2026...X Room is likely a long walk to/from the elevatorsX Bare bones amenities in the room itself (no microwave, refrigerator, or potable water)X High-pressure, ultra-loud toilet flushingX Some attractions + pool/spa were closed for the winter seasonX Parking was more than indicated on the hotel's website (we paid $25/day after taxes+fees)X There were some quirky workarounds in place to remedy the wear and tear to the room--For example, our lamp shades were missing their top screws so they were balanced upside down over the bulbsAll fairly standard for large scale Las Vegas hotels at the under $100/night price point.

The casino is nice! I even won a bit of money!The souvenirs were cute. It was a nice location traffic wise for those looking to spend time off the Strip. Parking was easy to configure.

The attractions all closed before we got to check them out.There was a sticky, sugary blob that got stuck to my sister’s sock in the hotel room.My sister said her pillow was too lumpy to be comfortable and the mattress was hard.The bathroom was very dark, the lighting barely reached into the shower area.The souvenir shop closest to the parking garage closed up before the stated close time, which was very frustrating.Our room was outdated, it didn’t have any USB ports for charging.

The staff was helpful. The rooms were clean. Great food.

They cannot book appointment at the reception desk for the restaurant. It would be nice if they can do booking. Tower is one of the main reason I choose the hotel.
