Comfortable spacious rooms, great workout room
The only option for parking was valet parking for $45 a day. Seems a bit pricey

The hotel is very nice and the lady at the front desk in the evening was polite. The room was clean with all the needed amenities
The hotel is located in a very busy area. It was loud and there was a fire station close by. So we heard sirens many times. Also, there were several times we could have used help with our bags and no one ever offered.

The hotel was beautiful and the staff were great. My only two issues were: 1) We had a rental car and thus needed to park at the hotel. Self-parking didn’t exist and thus we had to pay $45/day to valet park. 2) For the rate of each night, I would expect WiFi to be included. Not only was it not included, it was $20/day for fast internet and $10/day for slow. Because I was already spending a lot of money, I paid for the slow internet which was VERY, VERY slow.

The rooms are huge and bed is very comfortable, lots of pillows. Curtains are excellent. We like it,and we like the library bar.
The WiFi never worked. The valet is mandatory, and we aren’t told that.we weren’t allowed to self park, even though the parking gate was up, so we parked… then the guy comes over and gets our keys, and leaves us with our luggage to carry in vs insisting to help. Just seems a little odd, when we have to pay the $45 to park, plus tips, that we drag out bags across the lot.

Stayed in Feb so didn't check out the pool or gym, But the King suite was nice and spacious and had a good view of downtown. It's a great hotel as it combined the old world style of a historic hotel with modern luxury ambiance. It's not the Ritz or the Crescent, but that's ok. It's unique, so we enjoyed the stay. Also has a lively downstairs bar.
I'm not a fan of the mandatory valet parking, let me park my own car if I so choose. And the room door was not well insulated, so hallway noise at night was a bit annoying.

The hotel is beautiful, the location is perfect, we love the restaurant for breakfast. The guys at the valet are the best. The rooms are comfortable, the bathroom is good, they recently renovated it. They have a mini bar inside the rooms, ask for the keys. There are also a nice pool, great for the weather in Dallas during the summer.
The staff are not so friendly, especially the front desk. They are not helpful and barely smile. The toilet flush is really slow, all rooms have carpet that doesn't seem to be clean that often. The bed is kind of small too. And they need to improve the fitness center. The neighborhood is ok, but there are a fireman place nearby, so be prepared for siren noises, especially at night.
