Wyndham Ocean Walk

The location was great. The hotel itself in the lobby and outside was very clean and inviting.

The room 805 South Tower had a wet moldy smell. When we got there we had to ask for maintenance to come because the slide door would not open to the balcony. I then went in the restroom and noticed a moldy board behind the toilet. Then it was a tub shower combo and not a walk in shower. I would think by now it would be standard in most hotels like in the Hilton where we normally stay. My husband is disabled and suffers with knee problem. Having that tub was not the best for him . There was black hairs strands of hair in the tub, on the floor and in the sink. The bedroom had a weird old smell to the furniture that was in there. The TV in the bedroom was super small. I couldn’t change my room because check-in was hell. I went from getting my room key to being ask to join a presentation, yet we never signed up for that. I notice that the people who did sign up received better treatment and the lady before me received an upgrade. We just tried to make the best of our stay. When I check out the guy at the front desk ask me how was my stay and I explain all the issues, and all I received was I’m sorry I will let someone know.

Need better communication on when you can pick up the discounted coupons for other activities.

We absolutely love this place. It is our favorite place to stay in Daytona. The amenities are great. The location is awesome. We have stayed here many times in are never disappointed.

There is nothing we don’t like about this property. We absolutely love staying here.

The location was wonderful. You have everything within walking distance. And the views oceanfront were amazing. The amenities in the resort are great for kids and adults. Great fir families.

The only downfall is the wyndham sell on the property. I did not sign up for a presentation and paid full price, but when I checked in, I was told it was only 1.5 hours it took 3 hours of my time.

We really love this hotel for our family vacation. Our unit had everything that we needed. The kitchen was perfect to cook meals . Including a dishwasher!!!. We enjoyed our ocean view balcony. All the facilities were great , pools, lazy river, water slide and hottub. The beach was great too. Easy access to the beach, especially . Music all the time in the pool area , live music and live entertainment was a hit. We love the piano show, mini golf , the DJ and the steel band performer. Perfect place for a family vacation.

The Location was excellent. Very walkable.The Kitchen was well equipped and made eating cheaper.The Room size made it comfortable for a family not to be crampedThe Beach right out front was fantastic. The pools and hot tubs had potential.

The pool heaters were only partially working making it too cold to swim.The he hot tubs were overrun with children even when one had a sign for over 14 only.I did not know this was time share and had a long checking process with a sales pitch.Good if you like huge resorts but a bit too big for me.

Check in. You had to go to multiple desk to check I. Get door key and wristband. Them wanted you to do a seminar.
