Sandos Caracol Nature Resort & Water Park All Inclusive

Lighting in the room especially the showers was bad for senior citizens .. also coffee was of low quality and at breakfast we had to specify each time we needed cream for the coffee that was hot .. they tried but several days their machine was broken

It had stains on the bedsheets. The bathroom had mold all over the shower. It looks like it?s not been cleaned in months. There was dirt on the floor, and in the corners they were wrappers. Running out characters, but I have dozens of more complaints

Delightful. Lots of plants and wildlife. Very shaded. Clean. Quiet, away-from-the-world vibe. Lots of fun drinks/juices. Lots of activities in the resort itself.

Hotel map not to scale, more walking than expected. Need to schedule food/activities early the day before (not explained well by hotel). Hotel room didn't have a bathroom door and the shower door was transparent. Had to over-coordinate bathing routine

Beautiful nature and shows

Run down property - family pool is not sanitary, rooms are missing basic equipment like glasses for water and drinks. Food is ok, drinks are terrible. False advertisement and pics.Not a 4*. Staff is friendly, but not helpful and not able to resolve issues

The staff was very helpful and nice, and the wildlife at the resort was incredible.

We booked this resort because, as vegans, we were promised an array of vegan options. Unfortunately, this was not the case at all. In order to get vegan food, we had to work with managers and special chefs just to get something made that we could eat.

The overall atmosphere of the resort and the kids also loved the water park plus beach. The services and staff were well trained and helped everyone have fun.

The segregation by bracelet color.We definitely experienced preferential treatment and admittance to certain restaurants for elite members and not the rest.The mattresses need to be changed out more frequently. Needs security staff.Beach needs less rocks.

There is so much to do, very entertaining.

We got sick from the food the first night we were there and we were sick the entire rest of the trip. Later we realized why because they are not careful with food safety. They would leave meat out without regulating the temperature, etc. not going back.

Cenotes and animals. Nice lobby and beach and easy parking.

Room was old and very basic had bugs. The food was horrible at all restaurants and hard to make reservations for. The wait to check in was 1 hour, anytime you needed anything from reception was very long waits. Staff not very nice.

The hotel was amazing very unique experience, the staff is friendly and welcoming the service is amazing, the hotel has so much to do ,we spent 5 nights there and we was said to leave the place will definitely go back .

The only thing I would improve is the food at the buffet, it wasn¿t that great but it didn¿t change my what I felt about the place it is still unique and wonderful.

The staff were very courteous, funny and accommodating. No silly ask we had was too small for them to address. We called for maintenance once and they showed up and fixed our issue within 10 minutes. Lots of native wildlife on premises too!

The beach at the resort was more rocky than I expected. We limited our time on the beach/in the Gulf waters because of this.

The best part of this hotel was a clean pool and that there was a cenote available to swim in.

The number of things I disliked about this hotel are endless from checking in to checking out, service, customer service, guest service, maintenance and their transportation service that they are affiliated with horrible.

The beach is amazing, minus all the people trying to bother you to buy something or get a massage. Hard to relax.

The food is absolutely disgusting.

DO NOT STAY HERE!!!!! I can¿t warn you enough. They literally stole money by charging my card 165$ When I was told it would be a few dollars a night. When I called about it they said it was for a shuttle which we cancelled and won¿t do anything about it.

the food was sub-par, tasteless and bland. Even in one of the top tier restaurants, Los Lirios, it was just ok.

Beautiful location with so much to do and see. We loved theanimals, cenotes, aqua park, riding bikes (included),kayaking (included), beach, and the awesomeactivities crew - staff

I give the food and drink a 6.5 out of 10. We stayed 4 nights and couldn't get a reservation for a restaurant our last night and we were tired of the meh food by then so we opted to go into town. The mixers for the drinks were sickeningly sweet.

There are many activities to choose from for the entire family. Restaurant options were great. Hibachi style restaurant was the best.

There were some issues due to the hurricane last week but those were out of their control.

Eco friendly experience. The staff was attentive.

The room could use an upgrade decor and the hair dryer was awful. An upgraded the room could be purchased, but the expectation was that I paid for a hotel with a certain star level and they did not deliver on the star rating.

Excellent staff. Very attentive. Location is beautiful. Te variety of different activities available for all ages was also a big plus.

Not a problem with a hotel, but more so the other guests were there. Lots of trashy and rude folks, unfortunately.

The rainforest or jungle theme, the food options, the shows, the beach, and entertainment staff.

The rocky beach and the lack of organization at the front desk. Wait times and crowds in the lobby should not be acceptable. Being understaffed during their busy season is not an acceptable excuse.

I was not aware of reservations for restaurants. Also, the food at the international buffet was not good at all.
