Fletcher Hotel-Restaurant Langewold

The hotel is well located, right next to public transport that takes you directly to your destination. The surroundings are pleasant, and there is a large parking area

I stayed for 4 nights, and the breakfast was always the same

The room was cold. The thermostat on the radiator was turned to the highest, but still was cold inside. Also, there was no air refresher in the toilet/shower.

Very good breakfast, more choices: omelet, egg, pancakes, fruits, ham, cheese. Delicious coffee. Clean and big room.

We had booked a deluxe room, with balcony and separate toilet in addition to a bathroom. The room was spacious, comfortable and nicely decorated. The bathroom had both shower and a big bathtub. Also other amenities were available and I didn‘t miss anything. It was reasonably quiet and the breakfast was good.

There were large spots from water damage under the ceiling in the bathroom, and other signs at the doorframes etc which indicated that the hotel is not the newest. We traveled with friends who had booked two other (standard) rooms, and all of them reported that their room was very hot at night. Moreover, I did not feel very welcomed by the staff during check-in, but we were late and maybe his day had been a long one already. All in all ok, but not exceptional for the price we paid.

Newly renovated bathroom and the bed and pillows were comfortable. The comforter was nicely soft!

Too many… First, the curtains do not properly shield is from the very bright fire exit. So it was not entirely dark when sleeping. Next, any small noise, even the opening and closing of other people’s doors can be heard in our room! Someone was playing music in their phone - and we can even hear it in our room! Another thing, the backdoor door does not lock properly so the cold air can go inside the room easily. Heater was behind the curtains so the room cannot be fully heated in a short time. Super unsustainable! Regarding the food, the breakfast was mediocre and nothing special. The coffee machine was once broken on our first day. Lastly, the building is old, it looked like it was renovated to a hotel from an old apartment complex - so if you want a Fletcher that has more amenities, go somewhere else.

There are only 2 electric charge stations. Insufficient for such a large hotel. Not recommended for people with ev car.

The staff was very kind and smiling. The rooms were huge and comfortable. Breakfast was wealthy and delicious.

There is a restaurant, we could even sit outside. Breakfast is really nice as well. Enough parking.

It was hot and rooms had no airco, but also no protection against musqitos.........

The hotel is beautiful with free parking lot. The location is great as we can take the bus for around 20 minutes to Groningen center. Also we can go hiking with many different routes in the surroundings. The room is spacious and clean. Staffs are friendly. They also have restaurant and bar. TV has different channels with different languages (Dutch, English and German). Bed is comfortable.

We would like to have more coat racks to hang clothes or towels.

Thee breakfast was good.fresh bread, and very friendly breakfast lady.

Kind of old, worn out. Had to pay 6 euro extra tourist tax….after 10 you need to go the back side of ten hotel to get in via the “night entrance”….

The hotel is one of the “Oldies but goldies… “. The manager woman- to proud and pip , or deaf, to answer my question. The lady at the receptios - quite ok.

We got an Upgrade to the Suite. Very nice and big room. 2 TV, Jacuzzi, nice air condition.Breakfast with everything fresh and hot, even if you start the day a bit late
