I really appreciated the hotel’s excellent location and the very convenient transportation to the Universal parks. The room was extremely spacious—one of the largest I’ve stayed in over the past few years—and overall comfortable. Breakfast was basic but complete, offering fruits, yogurt, pastries, cornflakes, eggs, sausages, bacon, and biscuits, but it's presentation as buffet and dinning area could be improved.

Access to fresh water outside breakfast hours was inconvenient, since it had to be obtained from the coffee machine and therefore retained a coffee-like taste. The facilities felt outdated, including the elevator, furniture, lobby area, and the doors and locks—especially the bathroom door in the room. The room appeared reasonably clean, but we found small cockroaches on the freshly changed sheets.

The location was great. We only stayed one night before moving to a universal hotel (for express passes). This hotel was an older hotel that had been updated. Lower ceiling levels and older style but it was perfect for us. We have 2 teenage boys. The beds were very comfortable and the a/c was amazing. The A/C ran all night which was like a sound machine. The updated tv area with extra outlets was very nice! The hotel staff were friendly. The breakfast was great for a free breakfast. I do wish they had waffles. But the coffee bar was so so good! Oh and added bonus - we did not have a car so we were all hungry by the time we made it. So decided to walk to get some food. Around the back side of the hotel was a Wendy’s.

The hotel had carpet and was the lower ceiling levels. The breakfast area was crowded and the pancake line was long. All very minor! Hotel was great!

Very convenient location and very clean! Great breakfast options too!

Great location, excellent customer service

Great location. The one bedroom suite was ideal for a family of four . Walking distance to restaurants, great continental breakfast and friendly staff. Clean rooms .

The bathroom shower ceiling sat low and it didn't have a tub just a shower. My husband is 6'4 he just about fits lol. The pool area could use some upgrades. That's it really.

Location was great-as advertised. We chose to walk one block to the portofino hotel, and take the river walk to universal’s city walk and enter that way. Bed was comfy. Staff was super nice. Place was quiet-no craziness. Just a bunch of families.

Shower could use a deep clean every now and again. Tiles on shower walls looked dirty (but the shower was huge so you can work around that). Breakfast was fine.
