Doubletree By Hilton Hotel Washington DC - Crystal City

The location was great. Staff was super friendly.

Parking was an extra cost at $51 a night unless you can find street parking and risk your vehicle getting hit or worse. There was no fridge, microwave or hair dryer in the room. No ice machine on our floor. The lobby & elevators were very confusing to find. They either need a map or more signs put up labeling where things are. The cafe inside the restaurant was way overpriced & not good at all. Same for the restaurant above the hotel. The only good thing I can say about the hotel was the location of being close but not too close to all of the tourists sights.

My experience at the DoubleTree by Hilton in DC was good overall on my second time at this hotel. The room was comfortable, clean, and had everything I needed for a short stay. I only stayed for one night, but it was quiet and well-maintained. The location was very convenient, close to key spots in the city, and easy to access. Parking was very good and easily available, which made things even more convenient. The staff were also quite friendly and helpful. Overall, a pleasant and comfortable stay, I’d definitely consider staying here again.

What I didn’t like was the communication before my stay. The contact through email and messages didn’t work, I sent both an email and a message through the booking platform, but the response I received was automatic and not helpful at all. It felt like there was no real support or responsibility from the hotel staff to reply or assist, which was disappointing and frustrating.

Value for the price/proximity to DC was good and the staff were wonderful. The rooms were comfortable and spacious.

Some of the furnishings are in need of repair/replacement. I also had an allergic reaction to something in the room, which usually means there's mold or heavy dust present.

Parking was terrible, I was looking for a parking space for an hour and half. Room was clean and decent.

Paying $51 for a parking space that took more than an hour and half to find is ridiculous and absurd.

This hotel was perfect!! So spacious, free parking on the road, close to so many things- def recommend. The king suite w the living room felt like I was at my apartment! Super comfy bed too! Very convenient for project glow weekend!
