- They charge for an early checkin.
- The parking fee for a night felt steep, especially for self parking and walking across the entire grounds. Other hotels we've stayed at like this have not had such expensive fare for parking.

To all guests visiting between February 03 and May 01, 2023; The Hotel Roanoke will be removing 1 of our 3 Lobby elevators from service to perform a beautiful renovation. All guestrooms can be accessed by utilizing the two remaining elevators, except for the Governor’s Suite, which will require exiting on the 6th floor and taking the staircase to the 7th floor.
