The Colonnade Hotel

Location. Staff. Overall cleanliness.

Discovered upon arrival that I was going to get charged $34.95 per night's stay for an amenities fee. Parking at hotel was $70 per night. Not enough towels. Problem with a light in the room. No fan in bathroom. Not a good value.

The location is great for Northeastern University campus visiting or Boston sightseeing

The stocking and cleaning are something to be desired. I realized that there are no washing clothes and even the staff quickly delivered them after a phone call. I stayed multiple nights and elcaner didn't swipe the bathroom floor after first night

Staff was kind, understanding and helpful. Staff breakfast experience was good. Pastries delicious!

No washcloths in room. 2 hand towels, 2 bath towels only.

Location was outstanding. The staff were very helpful. The room was great -- except for the unstable tub floor that must be rotting underneath. You thought that you might fall through the floor.

The bathtub must be rotting underneath because the tub floor was unstable. One could easily fall because of it, and there is no bar to catch oneself The Facility Fee of $140 when we checked in was a very unpleasant surprise.

$35 fee for services we never used. Plus, we did want to use the pool but they told us it was closed for the winter!

The location

The cleanliness was poor, the room did not look like the pictures, very disappointing. The pool was closed (end of season 2nd of September). Was not worth the price at all unfortunately..

The roof top pool was very nice. The layout of the room was nice as you walked right into an open room instead of the typical hallway so it gave it the feel of a real bedroom instead of a hotel, the bathroom had individual soaps, etc.

No valet only an attached garage. Room had stained marble in the bathroom. There wasn’t anything in the hotel open in the morning to get coffee/juice so had to go to coffee shop and then wasn’t allowed to bring it to the pool. Staff not overly nice.

Night staff was amazing and super friendly / helpful Day staff was okay.

Very expensive parking (70$ / day), found parking across street for 35$ and block away for 30$. Room was ok but room design was very weird. Bathroom doors are french doors without any lock on one door, so no privacy.

The staff were friendly. A few minor issues with our room were addressed. The rooftop pool and the free snacks and water/coffee station was amazing. Location was fantastic. The hotel even granted us a free 7 hour late check-out !

The rooftop pool was lovely, as was the gym. The room was beautiful, and all of the team were friendly and approachable. That said, nothing can beat the location: right on top of the T Green Line made getting anywhere in Boston a breeze.

The pool was closed on the first night, which was irritating as that’s the night we had available to use it.

Location was perfect for seeing the sights of Boston, subway steps from the door, hotel staff lent us umbrellas so the weather didn’t interrupt our plans, staff met all of our requests very graciously. Beds were comfortable, hotel very clean and classy.

Loved the rooftop pool!! Loved the free drinks/snacks just wished I could have gotten a cold water after 4pm when they closed. My son went out for a 6 mile run and he was greeted by Norman who gave him a towel and water; extra nice touch!!

sink didn't drain, huge cracks around door jamb and threshold. can hear every sound in the hallway doors slamming. put towel on the floor to block out light and noise, didn't help much. no complimentary breakfast. no do not disturb option. hair shower

We booked a room for three people with a king size bed. Pictures showed a pull out couch in room but when we got to the room, there was only a king bed and two towels. They finally brought us a roll away bed at 9pm after asking three different times

Great facilities - restaurant, lobby, etc.

Resort fee $35 and parking $70 is a bit much.

Incredibly convenient location in back bay. My room overlooked the south end, a beautiful view.

Sheer curtains need to be replaced. Also would say the bedding is a little much would have like a queen sized b rather than a king size bed! Truly a first world problem!
