Food is good, especially the breakfast has everything you can looking for, the staff is very kind, the landscaping around is beautiful, the entertainment is good

The ping pong table is placed in an area where is impossible play, due to the hotel doesn¿t have that field in the entertainment.. The rooms have some maintenance problems ,also the telephone doesn¿t work But the front desk staff help in the solution

Excellent service by employees, great pool, very quite, big comfortable room.

Location, very difficult to enter the hotel, no entrance on highway when coming from la Romana, long distance to a place to turn around; I spent my birthday there and when my husband told the waiter to sing happy birthday for me the said they declined it.

Worst hotel. Please save your money and go somewhere else. worst Room & food nothing work in room, no hot shower, electric go down every hours for few minuets so you consistently lose wifi. We check out after 1 day stay but they did not refund our money

The internet was bad, I paid for a better connection, however it wasn’t better.

They tended well to their landscaping and gardens. Unlike their crappy service.

This was the worst resort I've ever stayed in. Terrible food, subpar service, constant power outages. After staying at the Bouganville, I will never visit the Dominican Republic ever again! I want a refund now!

The grounds are immaculate, very well maintained. The bars have a good variety of drink options and almost all of the staff had great attitudes and wanted to serve the guests well.

It appeared the dining staff in the buffet was understaffed, which shouldn't happen when there are so many people working all over the property. I'd consider this a minor complaint, though.

The hotel is very convenient and very nice. The food is perfect.

1). The beach doesn¿t present the Caribbean Sea. The sea there looks like a lake. 2). The staff could be nicer and more like service the leading.

Very exclusive, the beach is very calm.

Food in the buffet could be better , but it’s still ok.

Some of the staff were very nice. Bring plenty of dollars for tips, and the staff will be much nicer. I'm happy to tip overworked (and likely underpaid) workers. The room was spacious and clean.

The transportation to and from the hotel felt extremely dangerous. Especially the drive to the resort. The first driver was sick, he drove erratically, and stopped at the store to get himself an energy drink (possibly alcoholic). The food is not great either. The water doesn't get very hot, and there was an issue with the drain in my son's bathtub. The bath tub would not stay stopped up. I asked for a different room and they said they would come fix it, but they never did. Something about the hotel and my entire stay in the Dominican Republic felt off as a darker-skinned black traveler. I was singled out at security at the airport and people just were not very kind. I probably won't be coming back to the DR, but it was a good experience to see for myself. Overall, I can't support a place that treats a group of people (Haitians) like black people and immigrants are treated in the US. I hope building a wall between DR and Haiti solves all of their problems (spoiler, it won't because scapegoating never works).

Hotel is a nicely designed with airy feel to it. Several restaurants and great choice of food in main buffet for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Staff were exceptional - very friendly and helpful. Reasonable golf course nearby.

Rooms were comfortable but could do with updating. A couple of leaks in bathroom but these were fixed promptly. Minibar fridge didn’t work but we were given a stand alone fridge. Beer and snacks weren’t refreshed daily. Bathroom toiletries were basic and not refreshed regularly - had to request tissues and shower gel. Bath mats seemed to be in short supply!Main swimming pool was VERY noisy and more like 18-30 holiday! Quiet pool ok but not enough space for everyone wanting to escape the noisy pool. Very North American type of resort that has apparently (info from people who have been going there for years) become much noisier and loud over the years.Beach next to noisy pool that detracts from it. Sea is very cloudy rather than Caribbean blue due to its proximity to a river flowing into the bay.One of our group was vegetarian which was informed to the restaurants but he was still presented with meat filled ravioli and fish. Staff didn’t seem aware of dietary requirements. Very little option for vegetarians and nothing really for vegans. Golf was very expensive.

The grounds are beautiful, it is kept very clean.The staff were amazing and very friendly.The buffet food was amazing!

For a 5 star this needs updating. The rooms were tired and one of us had a leaky bathroom toilet sink and ceiling that they fixed. The Asian restaurant was not high quality enough for a la carte.We had a dinner on the beach and one of us was vegetarian. We told them this when booking and said no meat no fish and then they brought out chicken ravioli that was replaced by veggies and salmon. If you choose to be vegetarian or vegan this wouldn’t be the best choice unless you are ok with buffet every meal.They need to have a vegetarian option on the menus marked clearly.If you want clear Caribbean waters this hotel doesn’t have the blue clear waters as the bay is murky.

- clean rooms- great gastronomy (spanish and mexican days were particularly great), great choice of drinks and food- super friendly staff- really great coffee even from the coffee machine near the lobby bar - Dominican coffee is an absolute try-it-an-love-it option

- if you fly to DR for a great beach and a clean sea then this place wouldn't be so great as the beach is located near a river and the water in the sea was brown and smelly the entire 10 days we were there. If you were attracted by this place then a tip is to rebt a car and visit Bayahibe beach for a clean sea.- the app is close to useless and aims only at upselling you their extras but not to help you with basic things like dinner timing or menu- the rooms need refurbishing. Despite being very clean and well maintained by the staff, some aspects like shower and mattress were a disappointment (speaking about room 53213 to be more specific. - most of the team is very nice especially at the swimming pool bars and at the restaurant however, the golfcar drivers are a bit aggressive, and the restaurant manager is not welcomin and not looking after availability of dishes in contrast to waiter who are great and extremely friendly.

The staff is awesome!! Should check about the weather with the staff, they need to provide another kind of uniforms like bermudas because is too hot ? and make them sweat and that’s normal but not fair for them.

The buffet air conditioning needs repairs ASAP. We need to decide to go another place because it was not appropriate and may damage the food.

The breakfast serves Juan, Pedro and Yofresiy were great!! We also loved the staff at the Japanese, Mediterranean and French restaurant were great!

Our room has a strong odor of muld or cleaning detergent. The view was supposed to be ocean front, but it was minumm 100 m away from the beach front with a pool in the middle. And it wasn't the ocean, actually. The property, if faced towards the carribean, sees and not the atlantic ocean. Hot water wasn't working, and our reservation got messed up so they couldn't get our reservation in the system.

I love everything, Servers like Buenaventura and Johan do a great service. Exceptional service. And I Love the entertainment crew, they make me feel super Special, Mickey is a great person with great personality like all of them. My Name is Ricardo Fuentes from Puerto Rico.

Too many flies in the buffet area, the other thing was the TV in room 54217, problems because I saw the TV with bright lines. Little things like the controller didn't work and sometimes I would report it to be fixed, the jacuzzi was fixed instantly because it kept emptying.

Great service! Friendly staff, awesome food. Front desk and entertainment team are the best.
