The rooms are very comfortable

The Wifi quality was not very good.

I always enjoy over 20 and more years I come here - the rooms, and the wonderful food in the restaurant! The staff is wonderful - I'm glad though that the rooms are now getting renovated - so I'm looking forward to that!

In 20 years and more coming here, still can't find anything.

Very near a bus stop, which allowed easy access to the Stuttgart city center. Private (free) parking for guests. Very nice restaurant on the ground floor of the hotel.

The view was looking across about a 30-foot space at other rooms, so we kept our curtains closed. We did not ask about changing rooms, because we knew we wouldn't be in the room much.

The room was not comfortable at all. The facilities are old. The restaurant offers very limited choice of meals.

The upper mattress was too soft and - why it was put on there at all? Unfortunately I didn't noticed it in the evening, but I guess, I could hardly remove it anyway.

The facilities were perfect for a family, and our family room was a good size. The restaurant looked very popular although we didn't get a chance to try it.

The usual friendly family style welcome at the Hirsch. I've used them before and nothing has declined or become awfully expensive. Being only semi-ambulatory during this visit, I used the restaurant: I'd quite forgotten how good their food is. Not cheap; but good.

Wifi proxy is unduly interference-happy: several of my emails (which work fine everywhere else I've been, from Shenzen to the Ukrainian border) did not get sent once the proxy found them. It's 2025 - time to ditch the snitch, gentlemen.

Staff were excellent. Breakfast was excellent. Cleanliness was excellent. The facilities are dated somewhat but do exude some old-world charm. Overall this is a very good hotel for the price.

Plenty of parking spaces. Nice town.

The hotel is bit of an older stlye (late 90s perhaps). There were some minor issues with the equipment: e.g. the fridge is disconnected, the shower doors wouldn't close properly. All good otherwise.

It was a very last minute booking but staff were able to accommodate my dog and I. Beds were confortable, spacious room and great shower. A very charming hotel!

There was no airco. It was specially difficult to cool down my dog. Fridge wouldn’t cool as well. For me the most difficult thing was the carpet. The whole floor had a super fluffy carpet but as I got to the room I was already sneezing.

Rooms didn't have aircon. So were a little stuffy and opening the window let in noise, although the location is a small village the main road is next to the hotel.

I was arriving the day of a Euro 2024 game, I had asked if early check in was possible but was told because the hotel was fully booked I couldn't check in early which is fair enough, but I could store my luggage until check in time. Which was the option I was going to do. When I arrived early and asked to store my luggage I was told that my room was ready and I could check in. This was fantastic as I was able to get changed, get food from the great restaurant and then head back to the city centre to enjoy the atmosphere there before going to the match.

The aircon could have been better, as the room was very stuffy. Opening the window let traffic noise in.

Staff was quick, friendly and helpful, definitely appreciated.We booked 2 of their flats with kitchen, bathrooms and living rooms and these were absolutely nice and comfortable.Super clean, the showers were a true treat (sooo big). Overall great value for money.

Nothing big, maybe a few things to improve would be to have additional pillows available or scissors in the kitchen but it's truly small stuff and overall great place to stay.

Super pictoresque hotel close to Stuttgart with its own restaurant. We were there for a quick visit but can say the staff was nice and super helpful, the place was clean and the rooms were spacious and well furnished. Bonus points for the bathrooms too, comfy and great showers. Inner parking is also something we always appreciate, all in all a good hotel for sure and it only takes 10 mins to get to the city with a car!

We arrived late at night and the reception closes at 22 so we had someone else grab our keys beforehand.That meant finding our rooms on our own and the hotel itself is a bit of a maze, the big room was on top of the tower with quite many steps, not always the best option with heavy luggages.

Friendly staff and everything was functional. Bathroom is well maintained.

Dated facilities and design (e.g. carpet), clear marks of wear and age in carpet and window. Bathroom cleaning could have been more thorough.

Authentic German traditional "old school" hotel.good breakfast. Location is convenient to reach Stuttgart center or Airport, it's in a little village.

So far all good. At some things one can see the hotel is aging. Carpets for example could be renewed on the floors.

The service was friendly and get me the invoice very fast when i requested.

The price can get just insane for the facilities and location. We are talking about a Hotel which is more than 30-40 mins away from the city centre and is requesting around 100e per night. Is sad that the hotels are allowed to do this when they dont have the facilities for requesting such a money. The gardens are easily from decades, having holes already from aging. Rest of the furniture had also seen better years. Overall a place which you can stay but if you are paying over 60-70€ i would recommend to check other options first. And if its, when it happens to me already around 100€, its maybe better canceling the trip. PS: Once i saw it even for 140€ for a night, this is just criminal, i hope it was a mistake in the system.

We took the room with 5 beds, so if you are traveling in group or with your family, it’s a very good choice. The room was very big.

There is a speed camera just in front of the hotel. It would have been nice to be notified by the staff, especially because between 10 pm and 6 am you have to drive at 30 km/h.
