Nice, clean, modern and well appointed, nice room with comfortable, large bed. Very good value for the location. Free coffee downstairs. Bagel and pizza place next door. Bus stop nearby.
Can’t think of anything.

I needed a hotel last minute and the process on line was very easy. When us 4 ladies arrived we were pleasantly surprised. The hotel is beautiful. The staff was accommodating and the valet personal was fast and helpful. We received a welcome package. There is complimentary coffee, tea and cocoa 24 hours. The room was very spacious and beautiful. Also received welcoming text messages. Loved this hotel. Close to everything.

The location is good
It’s an old property. Carpet smells, wallpaper were coming off, the AC was noisy and so loud I got a headache from lack of sleep, then the reception staff was rude. Some more details, check-in was a nightmare. I met a queue and had to wait inline for close to 30 minutes before I could get a room key. Believe the other reviews that said you’ll be charged more than the “total” you paid for on booking.com. I was charged 87.62 extra before I got to the hotel and that’s not the refundable deposit. I was told by frontdesk staff that the refundable deposit will only be processed 7 days after your checkout, not immediately. You’re charged $50 plus tax as daily resort fee and they don’t clean the rooms or provide any room service. They only come take care of the room every 4 night. I asked for fresh towels by the 3rd day and they never came. I got bitten by bugs.

Travelled to Chicago for the marathon. This hotel was 'ok' priced for it's location, not cheap, not super expensive. I could walk to the marathon start. The hotel was clean, and safe. There were people at the front desk all the time.
This are the questions I sent to hotel management post stay, and the replies I got from them listed below.-----------------(Questions/feedback I sent to the hotel)1. I booked through booking.com, for a total price of USD$881.26. Upon check in, I was charged $967.76. I would like to know why the discrepancy.2. I am an international traveller, and do not receive SMS sent to my Australian number. Hence messages from Chicago Hotel Mag Mile regarding cleaning the room on the 4th day, were missed. Instead of sending me an SMS to my international number, consider sending me an email instead. I am sure that some of your guests do not check their international numbers for messages.3. Why is the room cleaned only every 4 days? I have stayed in 2 star hotels where the rooms are cleaned every day!4. Friday night, the rooftop bar was not open. That's a bit disappointing.5. Scam messages on booking.com, coming from the official Chicago Hotel Mag Mile account. This is unacceptable. Scammers infiltrating the messaging system, asking customers to verify their card details. This is fraudulent, and might be an inside job from someone working or who has access to the hotels's booking.com platform.6. There is a microwave on the computer/work table. But there is no cutlery, or coffee/tea/kettle.(Replies I got from the hotel)1. the price you received from Booking.com was net of taxes. 2. We can only send you messages through Booking.com until you arrive, as we didn't have your email address3. We can clean your room upon request at anytime. We can always change out Towels and Pick Up Garbage. 4. Rooftop is open from 8am - 11pm, unless it's raining.5. We cannot control any unauthorized access to Booking.com. We have checked and it' sno coming from our system.6. Cutlery is available at the Front Desk, as is Coffee, Tea, and Hot Chocolate around the corner from the Front DEsk.

The hotel is brilliantly situated really close to the miracle mile, the former Hancock tower and the lakeside. It felt safe with good restaurants in the direct vicinity. The receptionist Mathew was outstanding in his friendliness and helpfulness. The rooms are a reasonable size with a very comfy bed.
We stayed there for 5 nights and they only offer a cleaning service on the 4th night. Beyond that you have to request even a basic emptying of the bins or additional toilet paper. They charge a ridiculous additional ‘amenity fee’ of $50 dollars per night which basically gets you WiFi (which should be free anywhere) and some water/soft drinks. It should also get you restaurant.com codes but some of ours wouldn’t download and they weren’t really for places we wanted to eat. The hotel, despite its location, feels on the edge. It has a rooftop terrace but the bar is closed and it clearly once had a lobby cafe/coffee shop which is also gone, replaced by a row of coffee pod machines which are ok but it would have been nice to at least have fresh milk for tea. The shower never really got above lukewarm.

Rooms were of.a good size, very clean and comfortable beds. Loved the complimentary hot chocolate. Staff were helpful in giving recommendations for places to eat and hang out. Also welcome convenience the hotel kept our bags for a bit once we checked out and wanted to step out before we had to leave. And the hotel location is perfect
Nothing really..however anyway we could control the temps in the room?
