The Westin Fort Lauderdale Beach Resort

Staff was excellent, restaurant was really good. Room needs updating. Nice lobby. Location excellent.

Only double beds vs. queens, bathroom dated.

The excellent location, the tunnel to the beach, the private beach with beach chairs!

The staff. Front desk, valet, restaurant staff all great.

Bathroom had a loose, louvered 'window' that opened into the bed area. Also, bathroom door was a louvered style. So weird and uncomfortable. No privacy. We wouldn't have booked that room had we known.

Location

The bathroom is open to the rest of the room. Absolutely no privacy. Besides having an open louver door there is an open louver window into the room as well. Whoever approved this design should be fired.

Right next to the beach

No breakfast included, no shuttle to/from airport and florida was bery windy so being right next to elevator we had a howling wind all night

Our rooms were changed to ocean front, however it was in an older hotel that is connected.

The bridge to cross the street to the beach

Only valet parking available. Would have been nice to self park.

The location of the hotel was great. All of the hotel staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Nice restaurants onsite. Felt it was a safe area traveling with tweens. Gave less stars for cleaning because of the towel smell situation.

The room was aesthetically nice but outdated. The drawers regardless of being full or not kept opening. The bath and pool towels smelled fishy when wet. There was no shower door and the sliding bathroom door kept getting stuck. The plumbing seemed slow.

Location and dog friendly

Hotel shower would not drain, immediately upon attempting to run shower. The hot water took forever to come on. Room floor was sticky and hallways were disgustingly dirty. Poor experience for a 4 star hotel

The bed was too soft and uncomfortable causing back pain. Inconsistent room service. And someone stole my fiancée jacket.

The staff, professionalism, the full service hotel. They were very accommodating. My room was on the top floor with a great view.

The lady at the mezzanine cafe unfortunately didn¿t seem as friendly. My room was nice but the design was a little off - I couldn¿t open the main door without rolling open the bathroom door (which didn¿t close completely)

The staff gave me an upgrade to a room overlooking the beach. The room was spotless and the Mexican Restaurant was very good and reasonably priced.

The location was amazing

There was a problem in the room with the air conditioning, unit, dripping water, all over the floor in the closet as well as all over my clothes and luggage. I had to go out and purchase more clothes to wear to the funeral and ended up spending $---

Hotel cleaning staff & another girl . hotel employee in valet amazing, told us all the great locations to eat & shop . Beautiful trip

Proximity to the beach

The entire hotel was incredibly hot, there fans all over the lobby, restroom areas, the room was insanely hot, we even had to order a fan on the second night because the first night we slept in what felt like a sauna, 77 degrees inside, ridiculous.

I loved the proximity and easy access to the beach. The Mexican restaurant, pool bar, and staff at the pool and beach umbrellas were all pleasant and helpful.

The bathroom door and window from the bedroom to the bathroom did not allow for much privacy.

Beachfront! Wonderful views (the beach area is gorgrous). Easy access to beach. Bed was comfortable.

1. Bar at front played loud EDM music all day and into post-midnight hours. But, this was in keeping w the area - I'd never been there before. 2. Pool area wasn't what I expected; lacked "luxury" from my POV

Pool and location were great.

Run down rooms. Rained from our ceiling so maintenance had to come in and work on our room at night. Id pass if I was you.

The location of the hotel and beach bridge was great. Restaurant was delicious both breakfast and lunch/dinner.

Didn¿t care for the bathroom door having slits across it from top to bottom. Bathroom also had a window to the room with same slit panels across. You can sit on the toilet and talk to your wife in bed! Lol, worst thing I saw was the dirty tube floor

Lovely pool (although loud music and party vibe at the pool so if looking for something calmer go to the beach, ocean right across the street, great walks and biking. Great coffee shop, helpful staff and comfortable quiet rooms.
