Holiday Inn Express & Suites Cambridge by IHG

I was in town for the fireworks and concert at the Esplanade. Extremely convenient location!!! Couldn't find a better deal either! The bed and pillows were wicked comfortable, and coffee and breakfast was great as well.

Had to pay $50 for the parking plus the refrigerator and phone in the room wasn't working gave complaint supposedly someone was gonna fix it but never did until my checkout time

Room was spacious and modern

Breakfast layout not easy to move around in, space was small and crowded, could have had better options, more variety

Have 6 stars to the gentleman who checked me in. He was polite and he was the only staff me ever who greeted and spoke. The others just look at you or keep their head down

We got new towels but our bed was never touched

Walking distance to shopping plazas for essentials, great continental breakfast, quite.

There was hair in the bathroom ceiling and I saw some ants in our room.

The location of the hotel is perfect. Isolated but not so much. Supermarket is in walking distance. Quick bite right next door.

I called for assistance which was forgotten about,I personally heard when the staff member said she forgot to send request. An excuse of "it was busy" was given which is incorrect because I immediately walked out after I placed 1st call.

Breakfast was great. Some of the staff was nice.

They charged me $50 for parking. We came back to the hotel around midnight, there were no parking spots. The hotel clerk was very rude. We had to park 3 blocks away, walk back, and move the car before 8am.

Rooms were good: clean, appointed well.

The parking costs was outrageous as it was 50% of the cost of the room. Also, no gym on site. They have an arrangement with a nearby gym, but that is not convenient.

The rate per night, the kindness and flexibility of the staff, and the fact breakfast was included. The hotel was lovely and kffered parking. We were happy.

We were put in a handicapped room because they overbooked the regular king rooms. The shower was handheld and had a weak water stream. Everything else was great!
