Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott San Diego Old Town

It was clean. It was very nice. I like the fire pit the pool, the amenities, the location. The free breakfast in the morning was a bonus. Staff very nice and friendly.

Right now that your renovating when we first got there, we had been driving for a few hours and my husband who’s elderly had to use the restroom and the restroom was closed in the lobby and they said we could not use it, it wasn’t open to the public, and unfortunately he had an accident.

Breakfast was typical, with two types of egg, waffles, the usual carbs, Greek yogurt (flavored, not plain), milk, two kinds of juice, coffee, hot cocoa powder, etc.

There is a fire pit that many rooms look out to. Extremely noisy until 10 pm when the fire goes out, but still noisy until midnight. Hotel has no signs reminding people to respect a quiet time, nor any employees doing so either. Will not stay here again.

The location was great.

My room was a bit loud since it was on the outskirts of the building. But it was not too bad.

The hotel needs a lot of renovations. The outside hallway and walls are pretty dirty.

During My stay in the hotel the front desk staff were very helpful and all my wishes came true! From changing my pillows to unplugging the scent diffuser. I enjoyed my stay in the hotel and the location was very convenient.

Great location. Close to restaurants and walking distance. Staff were wonderful. Price was great. Breakfast included and was decent. I would definitely stay here again.

It’s an older hotel, stains on curtains and Carpet, in room, dirty walls,when ac off smelled very musty definitely needs some TLC, do it it’s worth it could be excellent. Needs to have more garbage cans, comfortable beds.

Great location for Old Town and quick overnight stay for airport.

Had a bad experience with the man at reception at 4:30 pm April 7. I had returned rental car and couldn't get my uber app to work. Was alone in sketchy area (Sun Diego Car Rentals - which was closed). All alone. Called husband back at hotel and he asked front desk if they could call an uber for me or a taxi and he was told no. He was finally able to get through to a taxi service and get me picked up. Disappointing.
