Boston Harbor Hotel

Location and staff, very good gym and pool

I do not see how it¿s a 5 star One restaurant and at that very average.

Location was excellent.

The hotel is showing it's age. There was nothing special about it for the price point. I have stayed at other five star hotels in Boston that were much more memorable.

Location and cleanliness were outstanding

Staff was less than welcoming. Doorman would watch my wife approach and never opened the door for her. That was a bit shocking. Food in restaurant was very over hyped.

The view over the harbor and city was absolutely stunning and the gift box of chocolates was a pleasant surprise. The staff was polite, pleasant, and professional, even at the exceptionally early hour we checked out.

One of the bedside USB charge ports did not work, but there were plenty of other power sources in the room.

The view was the best

Valet car parking was a bit of a challenge. It was run by an outside group instead of the hotel which previously handled it.

The room was much smaller than I expected. Barking dog at 7:00 a.m. Saturday woke us up, and it continued to bark for the rest of the morning.

Wonderful location; walk to the North End, the Seaport District, or Quincy Market in minutes. My seaside room overlooked Boston Harbor. The room itself was beautiful; big and very clean. I wish I could live there!

Nothing; couldn't have had a better stay.

The staff was very courteous and attentive. The room was very clean and comfortable.

For the price I expected a litt More luxury in the rooms, but overall it was as expected.

Location and amenities. If we asked for it we got it. Yoga mat, ice, corkscrew, and maintenance. We had one of the newly renovated rooms which was really beautiful. Fantastic view into the harbour.

Some of the new renovations were not checked thoroughly for functionality. Toilet ran and needed adjustment. The sliding door into the bathroom could not be opened or closed without significant effort. Maintenance could not fix it as the door is too heavy

It was a true 5 star experience

The AC in the room had a very strong fan, even when turned down low - it did not extend to the bed so it worked for me but if I had sat at the desk, it was to the point of uncomfortable. But the overall hotel experience was first rate.

We had a wonderful experience at the hotel. The room was very large and very clean. The bed was comfortable, and the shower amazing. We would not hesitate to stay there again.

Parking overnight was $60. I think that a bit excessive.

The staff was extremely helpful at all times, night and day. The room was very nice with a great view. I always felt welcome and valued. Somebody was always available to assist but kept their distance to make it relaxed.

Only addition I would add would be to offer some local benefits. Discounts or promotions.

The staff & service were all excellent. From the front door service to the end. The doormen were always there to open the door & welcome us home & the concierge provided options for our adventures. The front desk sent a dessert for our anniversary.

The only item to note is the bed which was a little lumpy with intents on both sides and the ferry horns in the mornings were not expected but we got used to it. I would note that on the website just for others to be prepare.

They overbooked & asked me if I would be willing to switch to another Hotel. I agreed. In turn, they booked me in an equally nice hotel for free, refunded my room charge, will be sending a certificate for future use and the new hotel upgraded my room.

The views were priceless. Unbelievable!

While the hotel is beautiful, our room was not cleaned very well. We had hairs (gross) that were on the shower ceiling that could of been easily washed off with the removable shower head. And there were hairs scattered in our bathroom.

Upscale. Room was very comfortable. Great staff. Location was perfect for me.
