Stylish , historic, location , staff , good restaurant inside
We had to switch rooms , Terrible air conditioning ( in both rooms) the system is noisy and the controller doesn't control temperature as it should. The sliding door for bathroom is not effective. There are no bars nor hooks in the bathroom to hang towels , there is not enough storage space for two people .. there is no toilet brush in the bathroom which can be embarrassing sometimes ... Poor ROI.

This Hotel was amazing, recently Referbished, the rooms are very big, staff are freindly and always happy to help, restrant is great, good food and at a great price, shops are near by and the city center is a short walk away.
No Breackfast, but with the city centre a short walk away that was not an issue

Great location. Very pretty hotel.
There were weddings each night that took over the bar. It really sucks picking the hotel with the intent of using the bar only to be shut out. The hallways were very loud. I heard everything going on outside my door while trying to sleep in the morning.

Great location...walking distance to basically everything. Loved the history of the building and hotel.
Small room...no where to really put our bags, and insanely small bathroom!

The view from our room (after we switched rooms) was great. We had a view of city hall. Our bed was probably one of the most comfortable beds I have ever slept on in a hotel. The location is perfect, you can get to anything within 10-15 by walking. Right next to two T stations. Staff are very friendly. Very clean and the lobby is a plus.
Whoever updated and redesigned these rooms should literally be fired. The bathrooms were awful. I am a fairly thin person and I couldn’t sit down on the toilet without my legs hitting the sink. There is no shelving. I had to store my make up and some stuff in a drawer in the bedroom. There should not be a glass fogged sliding glass door with gaps to a bathroom. If someone goes to the bathroom in the middle of the night, the light shines so bright into the bedroom. Two people cannot get around comfortably in that bathroom. The WiFi is so spotty and randomly would cut off. For the price you pay to stay here, I expected much better quality overall.

The hotel itself was beautiful and the location was excellent. We got the deluxe king room and it was incredibly small, we had no dresser or any room to even put our suitcases, no chair, nothing. We went to eat and the restaurant was closed for a private event. If we go back to Boston we will look for another place in the same area. Staff was very very nice though
Room was incredibly small with no dresser or even floor room for suitcases

The location was excellent with easy walking access to the "Freedom Trail" and numerous historical sights, as well as many very good restaurants. Taxi and Uber service were readily available and reasonably priced. The bed mattress was comfortable, and the bathroom and shower were fine. The room was kept clean and neat by housekeeping staff. The main restaurant was very good both for service and food quality -- though prices seemed a bit high.... The small store on the lower floor was convenient with good service and a decent stock of foods and travel necessities.
The bed was smaller than a king. The room was relatively small, though that was not a problem. The single window looked out on another wall about 6 feet away, no streets were visible. A comfortable chair for sitting would have been nice, though the small room would probably not have accommodated it.

Comfortable beds, very clean room, staff very friendly and willing to help, amazing location, beautiful historic hotel.
Rooms are very expensive and on the smaller side for the price. People taller than 6 foot may struggle with the bathrooms as the toilet is situated in a narrow gap between the wall and the sink.
