Four Seasons Hotel San Francisco at Embarcadero

Large modern room, great view, good room service food, friendly staff

Insufficient water bottles in the room (2 tiny free bottles + 2 tiny bottles in the bar for purchase). Very slow response by hotel to requests sent by the chat on the Four Seasons app.

It is a great location and the staff were fantastic -

Though the hotel is lovely, it should have been disclosed that the spa, gym and roof deck bar were all closed for remodeling. Those are three major things to not have access to for a hotel visit. And to still pay a full price, seems unacceptable.

We were upgraded to a room on the 27th floor with fantastic bay views and the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. We also had a terrific brunch downstairs on Sunday, what more can one ask?

It is located a little too far top walk to Union Square, but only a few minutes by Uber, so not a big deal...

Location & Staff

Rooms ending in 10 (E.G.4110) have a problem with noise during the night if the sliding door to the bathroom is not completely open. This issue impacted sleep the 1st night. Upon discovery of what caused the problem it was eliminated. Spa was closed.

The view is great can see almost everything in the city.

Nothing really just couldn't check in until 3:30 usually you can get into most places earlier but not that be of a deal

The staff were above and beyond. They upgraded our room for our anniversary, offered us champagne upon check in, and made us feel so welcome from beginning to end. Our first stay in a hotel of this star rating and it was beyond what we imagined.

That I had to leave so soon.

Everything! The suite was spacious, there is a private deck with amazing view. The welcome champagne was delicious. It was a wonderful experience!

The room was spacious and we'll laid out. The staff was courteous and prompt, and the location was perfect for our trip to the SFMOMA.

We only stayed for 2 nights but the staff was very helpful and kind and the rooms are very clean and comfortable.

The parking was a bit pricey, but it's San Francisco parking anywhere is expensive.

Great hospitality! We were offered complimentary champagne since there was a wait of 3 people when we arrived to ck in! Complimentary umbrellas at the door when raining, turn down service, excellent view, beautiful room!

Wished there was a hot tub.

All of the people at the hotel were very friendly and helpful. I arrived early and they were able to get me into my room early. A must stay hotel.

The entire staff was terrific from the moment we arrived until the time we left

Everything. The room, the service, the food, the towels, the sheets. All of it, was complete perfection. My wife and I are lucky enough to explore many five star hotels. This hotel exceeded all of our expectations and we can¿t wait to go back.
