Las Clementinas

My room was an example of great design and renovation. Great look! Great art! Beautiful blue paint on the doors and window trim. Beautiful tile work in the shower. The location was great right on the edge of Casco Viejo.

A couple of things, but so minor they're not worth even mentioning. Loved the place, especially the outdoor dining terrace surrounded by tropical trees. Great atmosphere.

The room was beautiful, the property was very nice and staff very friendly. Free coffee and water is always a plus. Amazing location.

Nothing much really. Breakfast was a little pricy but in keeping with the area. No plug socket next to the bed.

NOTHING, I did not get a chance to stay at this place because it baits and switch the hotel. The hotel provided on this site was not the one they sent to me. The code they sent was for the building on this site, however the hotel room I had was in a sister building with no address provided, no information about it in the lobby, no one to assist you.

Extremely bad customer service, partly because it appears they are poorly integrated with booking.com. They do not answer your phone calls either via call or WhatsApp. If you call the emergency number, they do not pick up. Also, their lobby is not really a lobby a shared with a restaurant. The receptionist is gone after 8PM even though it is a hotel so if your flight is delayed like mine you may be out of luck. The hotel is advertised with the a specific address. I was assigned a room in a sister building. That building is unknown, there is no address provided, no directions provided, no information about that sister building in the lobby or their website. No one present to help you out and they do not return your call or answer your Whatsapp messages either.

We loved the location in the old part of town. The staff were nice. Room was very comfortable.The restaurant downstairs was exceptional! We had an option of outdoor dining in a gorgeous patio surrounded by tropical trees and plants.

The room was a bit dark. Water pressure in shower was a bit low.

Excellent location in Casco. Easy to walk everywhere. Amazing staff, clean, quiet spacious room and wonderful restaurant.

We absolutely loved our staying at Las Clemintinas! Neris in particular made our stay so special. She went out of her way to help us in anyway she could, whether it’s with making reservations and recommendations, putting a lovely bottle of sparkling wine in our room for New Year’s Eve, helping us with laundry, greeting us with a warm smile every day- Neris is a standout! We found the apartment to be perfect for our family of four spacious, comfortable, clean and loved having the kitchen for popcorn snacks, cool drinks and simple breakfasts. We ate at Mahalo’s (downstairs) twice and the brunch was super- loved how many healthy options they have. The location couldn’t be better and we were very impressed overall. It absolutely lives up to all of the outstanding reviews. They are well deserved and an honest reflection of a very great property!

What an absolute Gem in the center of Casco Viejo! The rooms are huge and spacious and have everything you could want. Double glazing on patio doors…. Silent night! So quiet. Restaurant serves amazing food! Great value for money.

A few dodgy characters hanging around the corners!

I cannot praise Hotel Belmar enough!!Absolutely every staff member was friendly and extremely service-minded!They were a joy and accommodated my limited Spanish and spoke fantasticEnglish, without exception.This hotel is so special! A small number of rooms, nightly turn-down service and gifts. The room was charming and had a balcony overlooking the small garden and pond. The open-air dining room with extraordinary jungle and ocean views, served farm to table meals - breakfast included in your stay. And we had daily monkey, bird, pisote and aguti sightings right from our table.Hazel was our designated "concierge" From check-in to check-out, she answered all of our questions and coordinated all of our excursions with grace, friendliness and efficiency.We partook in the Ficus and Farm Tour Excursions, massages and the private dinner and I would recommend them all!!The FICUS TREE climb was from INSIDE the tree and included zip lining, repelling, and an optional slack-line walk and "bat"hang! The guides were very safety conscious and it made for a relaxed and exhilarating experience!The FARM TOUR, led by Vanessa who works on the farm, was incredibly fun, peaceful and informative about its workings. Gerardo, their cheese-making expert, educated us on what and how cheeses are made for the hotel. We petted dogs, donkeys, goats, and chickens! We milked one of the cows, fed a calf, milled sugar cane, and had a lovely farm to table, cooked snack overlooking the cows grazing on the hillside.The PRIVATE DINNER was an incredible feast, prepared on-site by our personal chef, Manuel, and served with graciousness by our personal server, Paula. All was made using ingredients from the very farm we'd visited that morning. I recommend doing the farm tour and dinner on the same day as it felt like a perfectly-paired day with plenty of time for relaxing in between.The MASSAGES my husband and I received were so relaxing!

The bed was really comfortable, the location is great, the room is large and was very comfortable for a family. The staff was also incredibly helpful! All around a great stay and I’d come back.

Beautiful historic building in Casco Viejo, walking distance to everything. The suite was large, well furnished, and very comfortable. Excellent bath and shower, plus coffee and a proper coffee maker in the kitchen. It’s also just upstairs from Mahalo, which serves great breakfasts—including North American options. Quiet corner at night, which is rare for the area.The only downside was the building alarm going off during the night, and the staff couldn’t silence it. It interrupted our sleep and took away from an otherwise wonderful stay.

Very walkable, central location. The attached restaurant was fantastic and the rooms were charming and clean. The staff was exceptionally friendly, available and super helpful when we had to make a change to our plans. I would absolutely recommend this hotel to anyone.

Our safe gave an error code and was inoperable but otherwise no complaints!

Staff were very nice

The AC in the bedroom was a central air machine and was very loud. The ceilings are high and not insulated so you can hear every step the people above you make.

Great location to casco viejo and a short walk to everything within the neighborhood

It was next to a nightclub that was open til early morning. I had noise cancelling machine so I wasn’t impacted too much. It was clean but could also use a deep clean. There was dust under the dressers and furniture that looked like it hadn’t been deep cleaned in a long time.

I liked the traditional style of the place, the decoration and location. The room was big.

The lighting could be better... It was dark even with the lights on.

Centrally located, beautifully decorated old building redone with a lot of care and beauty. Loved the mix old and new. Our room was in the side(back) building across the restaurant. It was comfortable, large and spacious.The restaurant in the lobby area, both an indoors and a lite garden cafe option were great! Both had a good selection of food & reasonable prices. A perfect breakfast spotNice staff, easy digicode entry, safe, from our balcony we saw the downtown city view and at on the ROOPTOP had an amazing view too! Coffee machine in room

to use the TV you had to have your own private log on (to Prime or ESPN etc. ) or you couldn't use the TV. No local channels were available. Kind of a shame to have a TV but not be able to actually use it.Unfortunately there was a noisy bar/drug den (across the street, on the small side street) VERY close by that played music until about 4 am both nights we stayed there so that was unfortunate. Maybe best to ask for facing the front road side.Noise seems this is quite common for the Caco Viejo streets that are noisy with traffic and people ALL night but it seems this drugden was especially noisy as it was so close and blasting LOUD thumping noise from 10pm-4am. (surprisingly there is a police station on the other corner that does nothing for the very late noise nor drug trafficking going on basically in front of them). From our balcony we could see all the exchanges and ins&out of people buying/talking/etc. We liked this Hotel a lot but we didn't get much sleep
