Good location in terms of access to relevant places.Good room with a large desk and a very comfortable bed.Light groceries, restaurants and bars IN the hotel, very convenient.Excellent breakfast.
Located right at the edge of the Tenderloin disctrict. Do NOT go left upon exiting the hotel. Sadly this location makes the area around the hotel feel unsafe and dirty.Wifi was unstable and regularly weak, which made working sometimes cumbersome.

Very modern and clean. Room facilities were great. Lots of parking available for a fee. We were able to leave our car in the car park during the day whilst we explored the city.
Area of the city is rough. We walked out the hotel immediately into a neighbourhood with lots of homeless people and drug abuse happening in plain view. To the point we were informed by locals not to walk our family down the street right next to the hotel because we wouldn’t be safe.A protest was also happening outside the hotel at the time. Which was noisy and disruptive.Feel like staff on the desks and doors could have been more helpful and guided/informed customers to avoid certain exit routes to avoid trouble.Hotel has a daily resort fee but we weren’t advised how to use it - once we had checked out we couldn’t use the $35 in the hotel shop. Expensive hotel for the experience received.

Good location near Union Square, self parking garage was convenient, although way overpriced. The buffet breakfast was excellent.
The lighting in the room was so dim you almost needed to pack a flashlight- very depressing feeling sitting in such a dimly lit room!Unfortunately, there was a hotel workers strike in full swing outside the front entrance. Tremendous amount of noise with strikers banging pots and pans and a nonstop siren which was ear piercing. Of course, the hotel did not notify hotel guests about this before hand!Fortunately, they were able to place us in a room on the 15th floor and on the other side of the building so the noise was muted. The homeless situation appeared to be worse than ever. The street litter was unbelievable and it was heartbreaking to witness people living in such filth. We did not feel safe venturing out in the streets after dark.
