Located in the River North district, this downtown Chicago hotel is 1 mile from Navy Pier. The all-suite hotel features an Italian restaurant, indoor pool and suites with 2 flat-screen TVs. Styled in warm colors and dark wood furniture, the modern suites offer a private bedroom with a spacious living room. A small refrigerator, microwave and an iPod docking station are provided. Osteria Via Stato features a traditional 3-course Italian meal. Embassy Suites Chicago–Downtown offers a daily continental breakfast and a nightly manager’s reception with free snacks and beverages. - HAPPY HOUR !!!! THE BREAKFAST WAS TOTALLY AWESOMENESS!!!! MY VIEW FROM MY ROOM WAS BREATH TAKING!!!

- Location was great and having a happy hour was nice.
Cons -
- My room was ready when I arrived but I still had to pay $40.00 to check in
- I had a broken TV that they couldn't replace and had to tell 3 people about it that didn't seem to care. Also the pull out couch still had a pillow and change left in it from who knows how long. Room wasn't stocked properly with coffee cups, etc.
- It was dirty and hot. The gym was hot, no towels or water replaced. The room was so hot the first night and they would not do anything about it. The manager reception was grossly understaffed and unable to get a drink because the line was an hour long.
