Brisa Pacific Hotel Encinitas

We ended up not staying here. While we knew it was a 2 star hotel, the description said there were restaurants and the beach within walking distance. The closest restaurant was a 40 minute walk and the beach was 20 minutes.

The hotel should be for work only not pleasure. Restaurants are 40 min walk on busy road and the beach is 20 min walk through neighborhood and down a steep staircase. Town was nice but away from hotel. Definitely NOT the beach town we were expecting.

Location! Location! Location! Easy walking distance to 3 beaches and downtown Encinitas.?.good air conditioning, large clean bathroom with plenty of hot water

No. Just no. Picked this hotel based on the reviews and no. Old building. Loud. Small and gross. I didn't even stay the night.

Bed was so hard it felt like a bare box springs. They list on the site as having breakfast. Well 'breakfast' was coffee tea and fruit. Some locals pulled up in their car and went swimming in the pool. I thought the price wAs nice but it was not.

Other than the staff, who were excellent. The facility was very old. They were renovating the rooms, but the work was sub par. Pillows were dinky. We had to purchase pillows. Too many things were negative, I will not stay here again.

They need to upgrade the towels. They are not soft or thick.

10 minute walk to Moonlight Beach & several overlooks and many restaurants. It's older, but everything works and the refrigerator has a freezer - a big plus for road trips. Spacious rooms. Easy to darken the room. Quiet on the backside facing neighborhood

Spacious room. It had every basic need met except a hairdryer which they Pat used when I asked.

The breakfast offerings were terrible!!! Pure JUNK. Very disappointing. Not a thing with protein in sight.

Location is great as it¿s close to my family's beach house. Very clean. Friendly and helpful staff. Bed was alright. Bathroom was tiny. Overall not bad for price.

Not really. Old "Motel" style accommodation, but clean and well maintained.

Generally the room was nice

The bathroom was exceptionally small - very tight, very cramped - not user-friendly at all!!! My TV did not work when I first arrived and that is completely unacceptable!!! TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE NOT TO CHECK THE ROOM BEFORE RENTING IT TO ME!!!!!

Good location near beach and freeway. Room was comfortable and clean. Very good for a 2-star property at this price point.

Slow drain in bar sink. Breakfast is very limited. Not as depicted in photos. Coffee, juice, small pastries, bananas.

The staff were very friendly. The hotel was very clean and comfortable. The location was great for my trip.

They charged for parking and some other thing which added $20 dollars to what I was supposed to pay /-(

No elevator. Refrigerator not clean. Surfaces on furniture not clean. Room given to us was claustrophobic with only a small window. TV was unplugged. Very dark in the room.

Rooms are clean, Staff is great! Location is great.

Hotel employee was great at check in. The room and bed were great. Shower was nice.

Towels were ok! Rooms need a little minor maintenance.

Poor cleaning and cheap mattress

It was a good-looking, simple, classic-style charmer with a safe feel and cozy parking lot. Good restaurants close by.

The high ceilings and carpet-less floor made the room echoey and a little cold, ambience-wise. Maybe add some tapestries to the large blank walls and some cheap throw rugs to soften things up. Besides that, perfect place to stay.
