Good location

It was a good location close to restaurants and shops and easy to get around to key tourist spots.

The staff, very unfriendly and unwilling to help much. Also when we altered a booking with the manager it was never recorded the agreed price and we ended up having to pay higher rates

stunning ocean view, location on the street, various services (restaurant, bar, pool, garden), helpful staff, proximity to the beach, convenient non-hotel services (bus line, bank, eateries, airport shuttle)

a few maintenance items - toilet seat lost screw, safe wouldn't unlock, tap loose. Annoying recessed power points! Our adapter wouldn't fit, but an Australian pattern outlet was provided. Very very slippery tiles in the shower. Shampoo provided but liquid soap dispenser missing.

Loved the setting.Room was a great size and the cleaners were fabulous.Location perfect.Facilities very very nice.

Hotel was the worst part of our holiday

Expensive, they didn't tell us breakfast was per person not per room and had different price on weekends.the staff accused my gf of stealing food because she left the restaurant with a bag but she was just going to the reception to ask for an adaptor for her hairdryer. The cheese and charcuterie platter we ordered at the bar was disgusting, made with the cheapest products, we barely touched it and even the "chef" even apologised. An insult to the French gastronomy.View on the ocean... and garbage and above a steak house smelling grilled food.Room was dirty, we could hear the neighbours like they were with us.

The location is excellent and the price is very good value as it's probably the cheapest hotel in the area.

It's getting quite tired. The bed sheets need replacing, a general tidyup and pressure clean would be good. The pool is nice but the timber really needs to be varnished. There were loose poles around the pool that were still loose from our last visit 1.5 years ago.

The resort is right at Anse Vata and in an area with several shopping and recreational options. Unfortunately, not all buildings are equally well maintained so it's really a hit or miss how your room will actually look like.

I like the location, very central, convenient and by the amazing beach. Beautiful location. The room was alright too, value for money.

I chose to be accommodated in the budget rooms. Only 2 things that I think needs improvement on:1. Add a few English channels to the TV Channel List2. Have another little bin in the room itself, just one provided in the bathroom is alright but not too okay for food rubbish or so.

Budget hotel a bit oldish.Staff not always very fast for check in or out.

Shower was hot and powerful.Aircon was very strong.Location was fantastic.Elevator to the floor.

Near a night bar/night club that had music playing after midnight over the weekend.

The distance to everything was great!

The hotel staff were rude and very unhelpful. I asked to organise a few tours or where to go to organise tours and they weren’t even responsive. I had two of the maintenance staff walk into my room prior to knocking whilst I was in the bathroom. I was questioned numerous time everytime I was at the buffet. I had to make clear to them I was part of the hotel. I was not happy with the service at all.

We really like the location: in front of the beach, close to restaurants, attractions and shops. Nice pool and ok facilities.

Only one old pillow per bed. Hotel bar (code) serve frozen supermarket food which was not good at all. We did not try the restaurant after spending time in the bar. Definitely opportunity to upgrade the old rooms and get a fresher look.

The location is perfect, close to the beach and restaurants. The staff are friendly and accommodating. Our room was nice and clean, serviced everyday.

Need a hotel information book in the room, had to find things out ourselves.

Location was fantastic - right across from the main beach. Staff were helpful and friendly.

Bathroom was old and dirty, shower was broken, beds were uncomfortable and sheets cheap and thin, kept getting locked out on the balcony. This hotel desperately needs a refresh and redo. The budget part of the hotel is in a whole separate building to the main hotel - this was not clear when booking.

I got charged for NATIONAL phone call without even say I had to pay for it. Bad communications at the counter. The other person was lovely

amazing location right on the beach front, staff were so incredibly friendly and helpful ! Spoke decent amount of english, our room was the seaview on level 5 and it had a gorgeous view of the beach, palm trees and sunset.

Communal toilets near the pool was a little dirty but i suppose that would have been from kids running in and out using the loo after the pool etc etc

Close to Lemon Bay, Anse Vata, and not far from the city. Bus Charter 3 and restaurants outside hotel.

No laundry during holy week.No iron, hair dryer.It's an old building outside Nouvata. The building I am in is called Nouvata Budget. Breakfast and dinner. Same boring food every dayYou get what you paid for. Staff communication is not the best in EnglishNo info pamplet on tour or time table of bus shuttles for Arc en ciel. The staff is so vague with non locals who can't soeak french..Nouvata staff still old ways. They're not techno savvy.

The view from the room was great, it was serviced daily which was great and the main area was lovely

I didn't like that it looked like I had booked a room in the nice part of the hotel but I actually had to walk out of reception and down the road and to a fairly run down looking building, a questionable lift I was worried would break down .....I think they need to make it clear that if U got a great price for your room that there is a reason

I hope this review helps someone in the future looking at this property, as the number of mixed reviews on Bookings made it difficult for me to know when I was searching whether a stay at Nouvata would be worth it. However, I would definitely say I made the right choice of booking at Nouvata. I preface this by saying I stayed in the Premium room located in the main hotel complex.First off, you should read the hotel and room details on the website well. The budget rooms are indeed cheaper, but they are found a 5 min walk away from the main hotel. The premium and comfort rooms are in the main hotel. Don't know what the rooms are like but they look fine from the outside and are very close to the main hotel.INTERNET IS FREE, FAST, AND GOOD NETWORK (up until ~30 GB a day) - if you are using more than 30 GB then maybe buy an unlimited data package portable wifi. Room is great - comfortable beds and pillows. Not a 5-star hotel quality, but perfectly fine for myself and my family. The hotel provided a crib which was great. THE AIRCONDITIONER SYSTEM WORKS FINE! Try adjusting the modes first before you make any complaints! If you really have any problems with the air conditioner of course call the front desk - but our experience of the air conditioner system is just fine!The Avis/Budget office can be found right outside the hotel's beach front entrance. We booked a car right from the office and were able to use the hotel's free parking in their private lot.

The hotel doesn't provide any vanity kits or soap. There is a dispenser for body wash in the premium room. However, that's all fine! Just be prepared to bring your own amenities. We didn't have the hotel breakfast buffet as it was a bit pricey, but there are loads of boulangeries and cafes nearby.The hotel didn't get back to us in time to help us with an airport shuttle booking, but for EUR 26 works out slightly cheaper than arc en ciel so best to call the hotel to help
