Temple Cafe and Seaside Cottages

Tucked between the sea and the busy road of Candidasa, once you are inside the property, you barely hear the traffic.Watching the crabs climbing the wall escaping from the wave was my entertainment, along with the view of passing fast boats, and children playing kites.

Breakfast is quite basic. And not about the property, but when the Candidasa board walk project will eventually arrived in front of the cottage, it will be quite a noise. Although of course, that will not be a permanent thing, the project. At this stage, the activity seems to be on and off.

Beautiful sea view with plenty of tables and chairs to sit on. Staff super hospitable and kind. Felt like home as it was such a pretty place with the gardens too as well as the kind and generous staff. Thank you for a wonderful stay, we will be back!

In the first room that we were in it had an opening on the toilet and it let a lot of mosquitos inside and the bed didn't have a mosquito net. Got bitten a lot but went to the manager and she gave us another room which didn't have that problem and fumigated it before so the problem went away.The Internet was very slow had to use my data.

Garden cared for with lots of flowering plants. Hear roaring ocean at night as room locations are good. Very peaceful.

Shower head was messed up; needs stability.

Loved this cozy bungalow.Steps from the beach, very cute decoration, big, beautiful toilet with bath tub. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I highly recommend the restaurant as they serve fresh and homemade meals at a very reasonable place. Couldn’t ask for more, I will definitely come back.

The food at Temple was AMAZING, and incredible value for money. The staff were all so friendly and accommodating, and the hotel is situated on the beach. When ordering food, you can sit in the restaurant at the front of the hotel, at your room, or at the tables and chairs right by the water. I did some online work while I was there, and have the most beautiful view of the water when I sat on my balcony. ❤️

The waves can be really loud when the tide is high, especially over night. I was staying in the cottage closest to the water, and got woken up a lot when waves crashed into the wall just in front of my room. The windows would also shake.

I liked my stay, it's a quiet and peaceful place. The room was spacious and well equipped with a kitchen and water dispenser. The food in restaurant was also good and affordable.

The views from the private beach terrace are absolutely stunning. I've stayed here before covid, and the restaurant has been greatly improved and looks really great - far better than almost all others in Candidasa. Everything is extremely well maintained throughout Temple and the room staff/ garden maintenence are permanently on the job. My room, extra for the Seaview, was very good as was the aircon. Breakfast is good and a fair price.

The main road outside has lorries flying through the town from sunrise to 10.30pm. Nothing can be done about this, and certainly not a fault of Temple, apart from staying near the beaches. Staff are definitely not proactive in the restaurant!

I loved the calm & peaceful place! The cottages are very simple, but directly in the front of the sea - I loved to watch the ocean! Breakfast was also simple but good. The staff ladies are very friendly & helpful for any advice or support for arranging activities, transport,...

Amazing view on the bay from hotels dining area in front of the Sea.Food was tasty, looking good.The garden was in real Good shape.

Bathroom definitely needs renovation.Unfortunately behind the hotels wall there is a piles of rubble and garbage so we found one cockroache in our bathroom :(But it is nothing dangerous :)
