Ethan at the front desk was very helpful... deserves a raise! Location is perfect for our visit
First room - tv didn't workSecond room - pocket door wouldn't come out of the wall (Ethan was able to temp fix) but maintenance never came and completed the fix. (But we weren't packing all our stuff to move again) we had to ask for them to clean the room, didn't really clean... just left towels - no TP had to ask and again Ethan to the rescue (he needs a raise) absolutely no water pressure... we stay here 2 - 3 times a year... this may be the last time.

Good location, pet friendly, and spacious room
Could improve cleanliness. The microwave plate in out room had dried sauce/melted cheese that hadn’t been washed.

Good room layout, room and bathroom were clean, clean hallways.
Not sure if it had something to do with the fact that we stayed here over Christmas and they had shortage of staff but breakfast area was close to a disaster. Food selection was meh, offered real ceramic and glass dishes but very poorly washed, food residue still stuck on dishes, one person managing the area just refilling hot station but no one wiping countertops or cleaning up spillage. Oatmeal was served almost cold, most likely leftover from the day before, blueberries smooshed in a container, left sitting from previous day as well, bananas all brown. It was the least appealing breakfast I have ever seen in a US hotel.

The hotel is located very close to local attractions... Ross Park Mall, Dave and Busters, etc. It is a short drive from Pittsburgh. The staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel itself was clean and welcoming. The room was very clean and comfortable. The free breakfast was very good. Overall, it was a wonderful experience.
The hotel permits guests to travel with their pets. I understand this is a service that many people appreciate. However, the guests in the room next to ours had a small dog that barked a good bit. I could not hear it inside our room... the walls must have muffled the sound... but anytime I stepped into the hallway, the dog sensed it and stood inside the door of their room barking. I think, if the hotel continues to allow that service to guests, it would be beneficial to place guests with pets in one area and those without in another.

Clean and spacious rooms.
I went to get ice and mold came out of the machine. Had to change one of my rooms, the internet said that it would be available.

I have stayed here many times and it was always great. We work in Glenshaw a few miles away several times a year, and the location and McCandless are great. The rooms have kitchenettes and are usually very clean. I rented three rooms for myself and staff for three nights. They provide breakfast and it is usually better than most hotels. 9 30
This time, the rooms were NOT clean. There was a used bar of soap in my shower, long hair all over in it, and my employees all had complaints as well. The staff at front desk was all but non-existent. We need to be on site at 7am for work. We stayed here because they have breakfast which it to start at 6am. Not this time. Wednesday morning the kitchen didn't serve until 6 35am. The front desk clerk was to worried about being on her phone and going outside for a cigarette than trying to help the kitchen get functioning. The coffee in the ern was from the day before. House cleaning came in that day and took dirty towels and such. I wound up with no washcloths and they took another employees shower mat and didn't leave a clean one. For almost 1500 dollars for our rooms, this was a bad experience. Again, I have stayed here several times in the past and it was always a good experience. I am not sure how they missed the mark on so many levels this time. Picture is of people waiting for breakfast taken at 6 30 Wednesday am. They all have to be leaving for work as well as us. At least six other people left for work without getting breakfast. They were a bit upset.
