Hotel Weisser Bock

Once we got to the hotel it was in the middle of the historic part of town

No air and it was hot. Our room was on the top floor and had to carry our bags up the last two flights. Room price was not a good value.

Lovely welcoming and quiet. Perfect location, comfortable and warm. My daughter travelled alone and felt perfectly comfortable here after her arrival in Germany for the first time.

We thought the location was good,close to the pedestrian zone and the river. The room was clean and bathroom were clean. We did not have breakfast with our rate.

Our room was at the very top of the hotel, #405. Yes, an elevator to floor 2 but then 2 long stairways up was very hard on two old people with luggage. We were almost to the top when a female staff offered help. The parking garage in the Kongress Hall, P8 was a long walk too dodging cars and bikes. You can drive your car up to the hotel to drop your luggage off although it is frowned upon. We did to leave and at that point no one minded.

Nice traditional hotel with a fine restaurant. The room is very cozy and beautiful, the location is excellent just in the very heart of the city. The breakfast is excellent, with high quality of food.

It’s pricey, the bottle water in the room is not complimentary.

The bed felt too small, something a little big larger did fit in the room.

Really cozy and comfortable hotel right in the city center. I liked everything about it, will stay there again for sure, when visiting Heidelberg next time.

Everything was perfect

Small and cosy guesthouse, excellent central location and very friendly staff. The room I had was rather small, appliances like TV etc. are not the most modern but that’s totally fine, it adds to the classic charm. However, one could hear nearly all outside noise at night. Kids playing in the street outside and then in the hallway, banging doors etc. and loud conversations in the hallway until the middle of the night, and noises from neighbouring rooms as well - even my sleep tracking app picked up the voices as sleep talking, which indicates the volume.

Spectacular breakfast and dinner in delightful atmosphere. Excellent location in the old city. Staff were helpful and friendly

I didn't like pillows

Good location. After giving us a room that hadn’t been cleaned, they found us another one and apologized.

We were given a room that had not been cleaned.

It was centrally located clean and well preserved

Avoid going to Heidelberg during the weekend,bars are close and their screams and noise will wake you until early in the morning

Fantastic location in the middle of the old town and within walking distance of pretty much anything. The rooms were very quiet despite the central location. Another highlight was the breakfast buffet, with copious amounts of fresh bread, meats, smoked salmon, cheeses, fruits, yoghurt, cereal, chef-made eggs, decent coffee and excellent service (albeit not exactly cheap at €20).

We had a room right under the roof which was heated a bit too generously, however, we were able to turn the heat down ourselves.

the location cannot be better if going for Christmas markets. The restaurant is high end, breakfast and dinner both very nice but expensive.

Coffee/tea making abitlity in the room would be nice.
