The Plaza Hotel - Milwaukee

It?s our go to in Milwaukee. Small, updated, quiet and comfortable. The building has a great history and the architecture shows that. It?s always comfortable and relaxing there.

Everything! The staff, the room, the location, the Cafe located inside. We are in the courtyard, the food and service was amazing. We would definitely stay here again

Gorgeous, well preserved hotel. Very cleanly and close to everything we wanted to do in Milwaukee. The restaurant offered a great, affordable breakfast with excellent service.

Suprised to have a large room with a stove fridge and king bed. Clean and super nice!

I was pleasantly surprised at the full kitchen and how nice the room was. While it was an older building the actual room was great!

The only downside was the water pressure in our room was minimal and it got a bit bright in the morning because there were blinds but no curtains. The water pressure might have just been our room though.

Staff was excellent and courteous. Location felt safe and was walkable to downtown. Beds were fine and linen looked clean. Breakfast was excellent, although there were bees inside the dining area.

Windows faced a cement wall, rooms looked and felt old (like 1920s old) and outdated. Few outlets avalible and bathroom fixtures didn't work (Although they did come fix them promptly). For the price paid I expected better. Window air conditioning was loud

Location is great. Parking was convenient. Historic building has charm. Good part of town; never felt unsafe.

While old building has its charm, it is a trade off for modern comforts. Toilet was wabbling. Bug found on ceiling. Cheap tv with poor audio.

Location is very convenient. Close to the Lake front and close to the Bradley Center. The Full kitchen was a nice surprise.

Walls seem thin. You can hear just about everything that is going on in the hall way. Its an old building so I didn't have high expectations. The shower was iffy, water would go from hot to cold back to hot. T

The section of town it was located in made it extremely easy to walk where ever we wanted to go throughout the city.

Going up and down the stairs was a little rough, but got easier as the days went by. Lugging heavy suitcases up the stairs at check in and down them at check out was touch for people at age 60.

The staff was so friendly and helpful. The location was very close to everything and within walking distance. I loved the close grocery store as well and parking was reasonable

Security was a bit concerning. The hotel uses keys and they gave us the wrong keys when we checked in resulting in us walking in on another guest.

Hotel has great historic charm and energy. Appreciated the kichenette in the room and would have used it more on a longer stay.

Water temperature in the shower fluctuated but not scalding just surprises you for a brief moment. I am not surprised by this considering an older plumbing system.

I enjoy the kitchen in the room.

The description compared it to a newer, fancier hotel in downtown Milwaukee, it did not even come close to it. The Plaza was very old and should not have been compared to the Hyatt...

The style and the cafe.

Bathrooms are a bit small and dated.

Clean, warm, and cosy. The restaurant is really nice. The reception staff are really nice and welcoming.

I didnt like using keys for the doors instead of cards. And just do not understand how can they not have an elenator.

THIS HOTEL WAS NOT A 3 STAR, OLD, HARD BEDS, COULD HERE OTHER ROOMS.

I liked that the room had a kitchen and we had an option to cook ourselves if needed.

Our check in process was a nightmare. The receptionist gave us the wrong key and told us the wrong room. We had to go back to the front desk to swap keys and confirm our room number. Seemed very unprepared to be at the front desk.
