The amenities, the staff, the food, the pools, the room! Beautiful resort! Only thing that would make it better is included shuttle service at this hotels price point.
They have a membership program they try to sell you and they can get very pushy! It becomes very uncomfortable. The price started very high then dropped dramatically when we said no thanks. Would the lower amount been offered if we said yes at first?!
The staff are amazing. Everyone we encountered was eager to ensure we were happy, or ask if we needed anything, or we¿re helpful. The resort was extremely clean, and very relaxing. We truly enjoyed our last minute getaway.
If I had to say anything negative, the only thing is the food was just eh. But take that with a grain of salt; we live in New Orleans where food is extremely seasoned and it¿s a big foodie city. I realize resorts have to cater to the masses.

Breakfast & the Coco cafe. Also enjoyed the nightly shows & art vendors. The Preferred Club was nice; this was the only bar that consistently made good drinks.
Pool bars served poorly made drinks 75% of the time (very weak and kind of gross ... we are not heavy drinkers, having 1-2 drinks that are *well-made* would be great).
Breakfast was great. The Coco cafe was also excellent, including the attentive, friendly staff working in this part of the hotel. We loved the Preferred Lounge as well.
It seemed like the bars around the pools were selective on who they would serve as closing time came near. We were told the Seaside bar was closed and less than 5 minutes later 2 women were being served there. Drinks made at the pool bar were not good.
We enjoyed the 3 large swimming pools and daily activities and snacks at each.
Beware! We booked a partial ocean view room and received a room with a garden view, no ocean in sight at all. All of the chairs at the pools also are all completely used up by 10am so get out there bright and early!
The beach was beautiful but weather was poor so could not really take advantage of beach services.
The first room we were placed in was absolutely filthy. Hair and stains all over bedsheets and furniture. Room had a foul odor. We had to wait 2 hours to be put in another room which was at least clean. Housekeeping never refilled toilet paper after 3x

That men have to wear pants to all restaurants but one. I had nice dress shirts on and was denied to eat inside when another had sweatpants and one had jeans and that¿s ok. Same for breakfast, men cannot have a tank top or cutoff sleeves woman can

Secrets hotel employee is outstanding! The food, the service, the location were all excellent. I love Secrets and will continue to stay at there chain of resorts.
Service was fast and friendly. The ¿ secret box¿ was so nice for room service- no having to get dressed.

One of the best resort experiences of my long life! Unparalleled service without pretense. The staff pride themselves on making your experience first-rate, and it doesn¿t feel forced or ¿mandated¿ by management. We are now big fans and will return!
