The Grampians Motel

Quiet and peaceful surroundings, very relaxing. Nice distance from centre of town for a morning walk.

Noisy air conditioner, sorry to say this but sounded like a washing machine on spin cycle, SORRY ?

Large room. Kangaroos outside room. Food was good. Secluded, away from road.

The motel is well situated just outside the township, and the rooms are well away from the road. The room itself was clean and well provisioned. The staff in the restaurant were very friendly and accommodating. The food was great.

The fridge in the room was quite noisy, running constantly through the night.

The Hotel had really good view from it

Staff was very pleasant to deal with, room appears exceptionally clean, location was very nice surrounded by beautiful mountains. Pool was clean and we got to use it.

Bed wasn't comfortable, but it is not my bed so what can you do.

Neat and clean with easy checkin and close to town. The setting was peaceful with a number of kangaroos around in the evening. The manager was friendly and helpful.

The restaurant was closed (no chef) but a continental breakfast was available for an additional cost.

I didn't have the breakfast, but I appreciated the inclusion of tea/coffee facilities, coffee machine, etc. the bed was very comfortable and felt new

A few small signs of wear here and there but mostly cosmetic.

The room was large & comfortable.A large spa bath was included but the control unit was broken by the previous renter so was not working.The Shower was large & comfortable.The view was excellent.My wife enjoyed the local wild life up closeBreakfast in the restaurant consisted of a Continental self help type @ $15.00 each.The onsite Laundry washer was 2 x $2 coins, the Drier was $1.00 per 30 odd minutes.

Would have been good if the spa actually worked.Lake Bellfield Flood-way was not turned on.

It was very quiet although quite a way from the center of town. Clean with comfy bed. Huge spa bath and renovated bathroom with a broken soap holder. Great view from the room and lots of wild life roaming around.

Lovely manager. Great location, short drive to town and on a large spacious property. Bathroom nicely updated.

This is an old hotel with basic rooms so expect all the basics and nothing more. Cheap option for a one night stay. Close to the mountains but not the "views from your room" I was looking for.

The Grampians Motel is easy to find, with free parking outside your room. The rooms are spread in a long line at the top of a hill, each with a magnificent view of the Grampians mountains. The rooms are clean and the beds very comfortable, with free wi-fi. We were able to request a full breakfast in the dining room (much better than crumbs in the room.) Warmly recommended!

The view and surrounds were exceptional

No wifi the hot water was sparing and the host was in appropriate with his conversation

Good location, central to Halls Gap and other attractions. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Lots of opportunities to see wildlife plus a bonus welcoming kangaroo!

It was a little noisy at night. Mainly with other rooms heaters and our fridge - but not a deal breaker.The lighting in the room was a little harsh and bright. More warmer lighting or lamps would be a bit more comfortable.

The location in the center of nature and everything Hall’s gap has to offer.

The bathroom in unit one was a bit tired.

Adfertised as electric blankets, hair dryer, cafe bar and restaurant but none were avaiulable. The bathroomtap was so close to the basin one could hardly get their hands poroperly washed

Great value stay! The staff were friendly. Short drive to downtown Halls Gap. Kangaroos were on property and were friendly as well!

Clean and comfortable room with a good hot shower. the hotelkeeper was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was a simple continental type. OH yes... this place was overrun with kangaroos and cockatoos!

Hot breakfast would have been nice.
