- It was clean, staff friendly
- Breakfast was great, rooms clean
- The front desk staff were all very friendly, kind and knowledgeable always with a smile. The breakfast attendendant has an excellent work ethic and superb personality.She was a joy in the morning she start ourcday off with laughter.
Cons -
- Noisy room along Main Street , small rooms
- Liked everything about this historic well kept hotel. Every front desk person at the Well Penns Lodge was extremely friendly too. What we didn't like was the unfriendly attitude without ever a greeting from the young girls who attended the pool towel desk
- A coffee maker is usually a standard amenity, but was not provided. Would like to have coffee mugs, and real water glasses in the rooms.

Friendly staff, beautiful historic building, excellent Sunday brunch, a microwave was available on the floor, our room had a refrigerator
