Flamingo Beach Mate is my favourite hotel in Tenerife.
Close to the beach and restaurants.

Cons -

Very rude receptionist, no respect at all for guests (using first names directly, goofing around thinking she is funny). 3 of them work at the reception, and they still gave us wrong room. We entered our personal info online, and the check-in process still took 20 minutes. We had to wait for our room 30 more minutes but that is ok since we got there before check in time. As soon as we got to the room, we unpacked and took a nap since we had very early flight. 20 minutes in our sleep we get a call from reception. They woke us up and told us we must change the room immediately. We had to pack again and move to different room. They told us they will help with our luggage - nobody did. The room: Very outdated bathroom, no sound isolation on any of the doors. You can hear doors banging on the same floor. There was music for two nights in a row in hotel bar and we couldnt sleep because of the noise. The isolation is so bad that you basically see light coming from hallway on all sides of the door. Stains on walls and around the doors. Broken coffee mugs at the breakfast. Luckily we stayed there only 3 nights.
