Hotel Restaurant Tychon AG

The room was very clean. It had everything we needed. It gave us what we expected. Breakfast was nice and staff was super friendly.

The mattress was quite hard. Yet we still managed to sleep decently.

wheelchair access was brand new, large and comfortable. Restaurant served delicious food.

Espresso coffees at breakfast but everything else great.

Fabulous staff, delicious food and our room was amazing. We had two bedrooms, a toilet, shower room and a room with a tv and table with chairs. Such a bonus as now our son is a teenager the extra space and privacy was welcome. We would definitely return and highly recommend this hotel.

New or just renovated complex with a appartaments next to the main building with reception and restaurant. Very professional and friendly staff; good restaurant and ample parking.

Very well located next to the highway, plenty of private parking space with EV-charging facilities, a warm welcome by the family members, a nice and clean room and bathroom, extra facilities such as a swimming pool.. The restaurant serves a standard choice of meals and a reasonable breakfast buffet awaits you in the morning.

Unfortunately, we were not able to use the pool and sauna, so it is not possible to evaluate their quality. But the room and grounds and breakfast were great!

Nice location and parking possibilities.

I would prefer a double bed. My room had 2 single beds. Pretty basic restaurant menu.

Spacious and clean room, plenty of free parking, nice swimming pool and sauna.Good location, nice to enjoy the swimming pool after a long hike. Good price-quality, including a decent breakfast.

The bath room is basic, ok, but was very cold, less enjoyable upon arrival after a long hiking day in autumn weather. The opening hours of the sauna are limited (good to take into account, only 5pm to 7pm). There are no towels for the swimming pool or the sauna in the facilities, nor in the room. We had to go and ask for them in the lobby. Hotel staff freaked out that we had a cell phone in the swimming pool area (which is separate from the sauna part), while literally every single guest in that area had their cell.phone at hand. The relaxing area in the sauna area was very cold.

This hotel is very well appointed throughout, although we didn't use the pool or sauna. The rooms are quite large and the showers are truly wonderful! Staff very professional but friendly without being intrusive. Restaurant excellent: breakfast is good quality with a range of breads, savouries and fruit and cereals and our dinner was superb and good value. Would definitely go again if in the area.

We liked everything tho' some people might prefer a larger choice of dinner menu: we preferred good quality smaller choice.

The room was very clean, the beds were comfortable and the sheets smelt nice. The room was quiet and easy to access as I have mobility walking problems, there was a ramp as well as steps to the room. The grounds of the hotel are very well laid out with nice plant combinations, and cater for outdoor seating.The breakfast was a buffet with a good selection of food. However the tea selection was very limited, no earl grey tea, but at least the tea was in a pot, not just a glass of hot water to add a teabag to.

The main entrance to the hotel is via steps, you need to know that there is wheelchair access up and around the back, although to get to that door there is a steep slope. No USB connections in the roomNon slip mats or some anti slip methods in the shower would be good for people’s safety.

As ever, a large comfortable room in a separate, purpose-built accommodation block. Excellent choice of quality dishes, served by friendly staff.Breakfast had a good choice of hot and cold offerings

We could have done with thicker pillows and possibly a small sofa in the room to relax on

Though the room was basic it was spotlessly clean with really comfortable beds. The pool was lovely to use after a long and busy day. It was easy to find. Food in the restaurant was great and the local gin was lovely

Room and building in good condition. Room was comfortable and warm and shower had decent pressure. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

Internet WiFi although free was attrociously slow and therefore unusable. Hairdryer stopped working, and toilet fan seemed to work when it felt like it.Extremely expensive probably owing to F1 although that was a 40 minute drive away
