Ocean Reef Resort

The room was comfortable & spacious. Beautiful scenery from the balcony. Peaceful and quiet location. The kitchenette had everything I needed to cook breakfast!

The room was clean, spacious and the beds were comfortable. The staff were very professional, attentive and helpful during our stay. The resort was cleaned and smelled good. The game room was enjoyable as it gave my children more things to do while on vacation. The indoor and outdoor pools were clean and well maintained.

The staff were very nice and having an ocean view from the balcony was nice. The bed and room had enough space and were very comfortable.

I believe if we pay for the hotel, regardless of it being through a third party or not, we should be allowed to have complimentary breakfast. I do not believe we should have to pay an extra 15$ a person to eat breakfast when we could drive somewhere and buy breakfast for less than that. I was not aware of that when I booked.

Location and quietness

The leaking bathroom ceiling, maintenance changed the tile ceiling but no one got up the brown water poodle from the ceiling afterwards.

Nice location. Larger than expected refrigerator In room, great water pressure in shower, pillows were comfortable, several nice hot tubs to choose from. Staff was polite.

We didn’t like needing to ask for clean towels and more cups. Only saw housekeeping when they brought us the towels. We asked for some more coffee cups, regular plastic cups and an ice bucket liner but we never received them. Our room was never cleaned. The largest problem was not having a way to pull our beach wagon completely to/from the beach. On one side of the building there were 2 sets of steps. On the other side there was a ramp until you got to the beach and then there were ( 5 or 6?) steps. We bounced the wagon down the steps but to go back up the steps we had to remove our items, walk them up the steps separately, pull the wagon up, and then replace our items back into the wagon. Good grief.

First time here it was great, good area everything nearby. The resort was comfortable and the staff was informative.

Right at the beach. Close to grocery stores. Parking available in garage access the street. Front desk was stressed, but very friendly.

Room was dated. Lot of perfume/ air-freshener used to block smells. Stick draws in dresser. Don’t let the pictures fool you, the rooms has a lot of wear. Elevators had missing buttons, no AC. Wonder how it passed inspection.
