Poor quality food, not premium alcohol, rooms were not properly maintained and treated for insects

The grounds are beautiful and unkept well. The staff is friendly and 100% customer service friendly.

We had $100 USD stolen from our room while we were on an excursion.

The "unlimited vacation" crowd seemed like they'd fit in better at a neighborhood Holiday Inn. Unruly guests devalue the resort. Check in process unnecessarily lengthy. Some hotel facilities could definitely use upgrading (lobby and spa area).

The staff was amazing, made the experiences amazing. The resort was well maintained, clean and inviting. the excursions were well managed, food was very acceptable. location is very convenient for almost everything you want to do.

The only negative that could not be helped was the hills. the hotel did a great job with transporting us when we did not have the energy to climb them after a day of excursions and amazing cocktails.

Grounds and room were impeccable, staff was always friendly and helpful, scenery was gorgeous! Loved the excursions, perfect vacation!

This is the nicest all inclusive I’ve stayed at. No fighting for reservations. Everyone was very very nice. The resort was beautiful and clean. It was simply amazing. It’s small, spread out, but vans can drive you anywhere you want to go.

The staff and entertainment center were great! Location is right on the beach as well.

The rooms only had showers and it would leak into the rest of the bathroom area. We had a towel that had a giant stain on it (ew). Also the housekeeping didn't always come when we asked for it. Room service was pretty bad as well.

The resort needs some upgrades but we still had a good time. Also the resort wasn't very walkable so we had to call transportation when we needed to go somewhere.

Staff couldn’t be more helpful, our bungalow was great and the quiet pool was exactly what we wanted.

There is a louder main pool which was less interesting for us but there’s another much quieter pool area so not a problem.

Great beach and beautiful views, good restaurants, friendly staff

I understand the importance of spas, excursions, private dinners, etc. to make a little more money but the spa packages and dinners were VERY expensive and we started getting a little annoyed with the staff constantly trying to sell them to us. We might have been interested but the prices were much more expensive than at other resorts. Also, it was very difficult to book a cabana because it seemed like one or two couples booked them the entire time we were there.

Few restaurants and the different menus should include more options. Also, I did not like to see an unique restaurant for people who paid for concierge. All should be inclusive. Sometimes it was boring waiting for the shuttle.Beach is fine, definitely there are better beaches in Guanacaste but not close to main resorts.

The greenery was amazing, and they did a great job keeping up with everything. It was very clean.

Kind of isolated. Could have more seating outside by the pools. Dress code seemed a little bit too much.

Food was very good and a lot of choices. 2 nice swimming pools.

There were bed bugs in room 204, I noticed the last morning I was there on January 9th 2024. Not many activity's for sports. Tennis is in reality 2 small pickleball courts.

Could do with more sun beds as you have to be down at the pool for 7am to get a half decent spot. They’re all gone by 7.30/8am. Also the music can be v loud during the day

Free activities each day like snorkelling, and kayaking. Bars and bar staff. The buildings themselves including our room were very nice, the beach was small but private. Most staff were good.

Needed transport around the resort most of the time, quality of food was not great considering the price hit/miss on dishes although some were good, quality of room service food was mixed - chicken wings were good. Final sales staff of the membership sales cycle were not the best experience.

Beautiful location, nice pool, nice beach, comfortable room and lovely spa. Great breakfast.

Overpriced. Cheesy entertainment. I’m sure it’s fine if you like all inclusive places but I guess I don’t. It was like a cheesy landlocked cruise in many ways. Most of the food was pretty good but some meals were very disappointing. I also don’t like the whole ‘preferred’ crap. They had ridiculous rules about not being able to put up the umbrellas in a very light breeze - buy better umbrellas! This type of place is why I never go to the Caribbean or Mexico, just didn’t realize it would be the same in Costa Rica…and that’s the whole point I guess, you could have the exact same experience regardless of where you go. I guess some people like that, but I now know I am definitely not one of them.

Check in and out was conducted with only 1 staff. Most flights arrive before noon, so by 3 pm everyone is tired and ready to rest. I waited on a couple that was already there when I got there for 39 minutes before I got upset and demanded to be given my key, since I had already paid .

We loved the view from our room! The pool manager was excellent! Staff was friendly! The shuttle ran awesome!

The pools and furniture are old and not attractive. The lack of towels for over an hour at both pools was ridiculous.
